Cam Newton to Pats.

It's money and opportunity. There are very few QB needy teams with cash. Winston is definitely a top 64 QB and he's jobless too.

Winston signed several weeks ago with the NO Saints. And no debate: Cam > Winston

That's right. I totally missed that and read about a few days a ago and still forgot. Super weird signing for them I thought. They must really not like Hill as a QB.

Reportedly Payton thinks that Hill is a franchise QB, but there's zero evidence of that and evidence to the contrary.  I would think that Winston took the job demanding to be the #2 QB.

I was saying this would happen before last season even ended. Bill was going to try his mimic of the Baltimore offense. And Cam is just that. Between white, Michel and Cam they have a nasty little read option team that can run and throw short passes. If cam is healthy this is a big get for them. Personally I don’t think he can take hits anymore and similar to a running back his body has just can’t handle the load it takes to be the kind of quarterback he is.

Hill as a starter is not gonna happen, IMO.   Gadget player

he will have almost a full year recovery period by the time the season starts.

We say this about every player that goes to NE and then they magically revive their careers. how are Bills fans so blind not to admit this lol

I doubt that will be our issue

the question is can Josh Allen have a good game against Bellichecks defense

He is bad independent of the injury, and the toll his body has taken over the years means that even though he's technically recovered from the shoulder thing, he is hardly going to be springy, spry, and gung-ho for contact out there.

I am feeling pretty confident in that prediction

Which do you think will happen first.....the media meltdown or the injury?

Honestly, I think this pencils them in for the AFC championship game. He may melt down under the bright lights, but I expect NE to go no worse than 12-4.

2019 total offense team rankings:

New England: 7th

Buffalo: 23rd

now imagine Cam instead of a geriatric Brady.

OK.....let me see if I understand your idiotic reasoning

New England 7th ranked offense.....with a HOF accurate QB

This year........no Tom Brady and a broken down Cam Newton

Oh yeah.....those are totally going to add up

To add to your idiotic arguement......it does not matter what the bills offense was ranked last year......we are talking about the patriots

LOL so now Brady is a HOF accurate QB?

according to this board Allen was better than Brady last season and Brady's career is finished. make up your mind people.

LOL

there goes the division title...last time Cam had a top 5 defense he won 13 games and went to the superbowl

And threw for 59.8%.  Isn't it 60% or bust?

You'll never see the 2015 Cam Newton again because his rushing helped him tremendously.

So there will be no excuses from you if the Bills are, again, unable to beat the Pats, let alone for the division title?  Right?

Bills fans:  Josh Allen is going to be a top 10 QBs. Brian Daboll is only holding him back

cam newton:  even though he completes 68% of his passes his last healthy year and is a former MVP/ Heisman trophy winner, I’d rather have Allen.

I mean I guess I’d rather have Allen but it’s so insane how much some of you hype up our guy and dismiss other good QBs.   The Pats are a much better team right now If Cam is healthy.   This board has severely underrated how good he is.  He has played with dog ? in Carolina besides a year of Steve Smith and McCafferey.

"that D" hasn't really gone anywhere lol.

And Gronk barely had an impact last season and the Pats still swept us.

So why were we the favorites?

That's my point.

I'm saying I dont care who their QB is because our D is legit we just need to score.

I fully expect the bills to at least split with the pats and win the AFC East

I love you John but have you ever not said that.

but if Buffalo is a legit contender, they need to win one if not 2 games against NE.

They should be able to at least split.  Assuming Cam is ready to go, Belichick is still Belichick.

McDermott better be ready!

This is the year :)

I hope you are right brother.  I think healthy Newton is a real problem.  They were talking about one of the reason they didn’t fight more for Brady is because they wanted a qb who could do more.
