Yeah, they don’t really have one guy that wows you. They love those weird defensive looks with guys standing at the los. Josh Allen needs to know that it’s okay to take a sack sometimes. But it's just really hard to gauge how great they are this year. The stats suggest they are historically great but they just drew in back to back weeks two of the worst offenses we have seen in quite a long time. I mean the Jets are playing a third string quarterback. They are actually a competent team when Darnold is on the field as we saw in week one. And we still handled Darnold and that offense just fine. His hammy is either good to go or it isn’t. Doesn’t matter which defense he’s running against. We win we look golden at 4-0, we lose we say so what we expected to be 3-1. Heart says we can win this 24-23, head says its the Pats and Allen will make some ***** mistakes pushing to get us from being behind and we lose 27 -19. Not saying that the other 6 in two games isn’t impressive and that we won’t have our hands full, but I think getting more than half your total against a very poor team adds some perspective. New England destroyed Pitt (with Big Ben), who is probably similar to Cinci. We beat the Jets (with Darnold) and Giants. They destroyed the Dolphins and Jets. That being said, the Dolphins are barely an NFL team at this point and the only team they could probably win against right now is the beat up/3rd string QB led Jets. I’d argue our comp has been better than there’s, but they’ve dominated without making mistakes. We’ve dominated on yardage, but made a ton of mistakes in every game. Recent history shows our defense fares decently against Brady but has trouble with their running game. Recent history shows they will miss Gronk. The big unknown is Allen, the revamped offense, and Singletary. We don't have anything to hang our hat on with that. It is a complete unknown. Some physical tools but he's not proven to be a good QB yet. Still makes too many dumb decisions every game. You guys struggle to score. Allen is pressured so much and Pats defense is as good as it gets. Not just this year, going back last year and only improved. I hate that team but until they are beat they the champs.
