The RB corps is starting to look very similar to a NE Patriots group - multiple guys who all do something really well and they can use differently from game to game depending on the plan and the weaknesses in the defense they face. He caught two red zone TDs against 3rd stringers and everyone gets super excited like he’s gonna start doing it against Richard Sherman. He’s a big slow WR. He may or may not be a PS candidate but we are basically trying to run the Patriots offense so the necessity for one isn’t super large. McCoy does have something left in the tank, but he’s not what he used to be. He wasn’t going to be back in 2020 so they saved his money and gave Devin Singletary his spot to see if he can be the full time guy, and will keep Gore to mentor him, Yeldon as the 3rd guy, and possibly Perry for his STs. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
