WhitewalkerInPhilly
FWIW, WF had him as a solid FA option. http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2019OT.php I am assuming that the deal is heavily frontloaded with little guarantee on the back end.

HappyDays
So I'm guessing no Darryl Williams and probably an OT drafted early.

The money these tackles are getting in free agency this year is just absolutely insane. The price must be too high, I’d bet. I mean, RT Ja’Wuan James was just given over $13 million per year! (which made him the highest paid RT in the NFL by a fair margin, and he’s nowhere near the #1 RT)
SCBills
Wow... rave reviews for this guy from...pretty much everyone. Maybe he is our starting RT. Probably half the cost of a Daryl Williams signing so if we’re moving in another direction, should be interesting to see what we do with that money.
Nihilarian
A better backup plan at RT then what is already on the roster for sure.
TigerJ
2 minutes ago, whatdrought said: Does this take us out of Daryl Williams? I would assume so. It's a two year deal and Nsekhe is 33 years old, so the Bills are not treating him like a long term answer. I think they will still draft a tackle. Depending on how highly they draft him, he could compete with Nsekhe to start. Jordan Mills looks to be history, and probably another guy as well. Guest K-GunJimKelly12
People getting upset over $7.5 million, 2 year deals are hilarious. This deal gives us a decent starting tackle for two years and in no way will impede us from re-signing our own guys in the future or signing other free agents this year or in the future. Just hilarious how some of you have no understanding how this works but can't wait to complain. Edited March 12, 2019 by K-GunJimKelly12

BillsFanForever19
Everyone clamoring for Daryl Williams - the reason people aren't jumping is because they want to wait until Wednesday so they can see where he's at medically. MrEpsYtown
Yeah you guys aren't going to like this: Nsekhe, an offensive tackle whose NFL experience is limited to two games with the Rams last season, responded to a tweet by someone named Morgan Reed. Both tweets appear to have been deleted, but the Washington Times posted a screenshot of them (see above). Reed had expressed disbelief that football players make so much more money than members of the military, to which Nsekhe replied that there's not much skill required to kill someone. When the backlash started, Nsekhe responded to one person, "[Y]ou must be in the military, huh," according to the Washington Times. http://articles.latimes.com/2013/sep/24/sports/la-sp-sn-rams-ty-nsekhe-20130924

scribo
The purpose of this signing is simple: Ensure the Bills can draft the best player available. No glaring needs in April means we can fully benefit from other teams' reaches. 7

P51
I watch a ton of the Skins down here, guy is a quality swing tackle and a potential starter in the event he needs to be, this is another quality signing. Also keeps options open moving forward through FA and the draft for the oline.

Dr.Mantis_Toboggan
Love the way Beane has utilized all this cap space, especially in an overpriced market. Has managed to literally upgrade all positions of need and has now leveraged the team into a position where they can truly go BPA throughout the draft. This is the way winners are built.
