My guess is that this was really just a (dirty) play from Steelers and it was leaked in order to make Raiders increase their offer.

He will not come here, I am really not sure if it is good news or bad news. Probably bad news, since if Beane was to bring AB in here, I am pretty sure he'd had some prior agreement with him and he would normally play for Buffalo (without any drama).

Idt so. Thats bad business. 99% chance the leak is true. I bet beane is pissed though, no doubt.

Its one thing for agents to leak their FAs deals, but organizations do not do it on player trades.

Where have you seen a major leak from a credible source like this be fake, or a ploy to get a better trade deal?

Its never happened.

I have skeptical Hippo eyes on this, but if this is true, then Beane has a huge set.

Not sure how I feel about AB the person coming to the Bills, but as a player I’m thinking playoffs.

I know Ian is more reputable but....

NFL.com has a lot of explaining to do.

I want nothing to do with this guy.  Never thought the front office would be interested in such a selfish player.

There's two sides to every story. We the fans and team and EVERYONE Associated with the organization are One! TRUST THE PROCESS!

The real question is why didn't we grab Keenum for the sweet deal the Redskins got him for?

Swapping late round picks & splitting that yearly contract with the Broncos? That's no risk, all upside for someone with that experience.

Is this like a bad joke or something?

Bills not ready to compete. I rather build up young core around Allen. Now you got Allen having to deal with a WR who is a headcase. It puts undue pressure on your franchise QB. I think the Bills end up regretting this move if it goes through and that is not knowing what the compensation will be and the contract they need to give for him to even show up in Buffalo.

Undue pressure on Allen? Not ready to compete? If I wasn't a fan of this team I'd hope they'd suck for the next 20 years because of your attitude. You make 0 sense. Allen already has pressure on him. What are they supposed to do? Be easy going and suck for the next 5 years and hope Allen feels good?

He says his source “THIS MORNING” said that.  But Rappaport broke this tonight, lot can happen from morning until then.

His post is at 12:11 a.m. the 8th, that is this morning.

Maybe he meant morning of the 7th?

Allen is the unquestioned leader moving forward. Sorry but no thanks to a locker room headache the moment he doesn’t get his targets.

Give me a young core of guys who are going to grow along with Allen. If Allen turns out to be the answer then make your moves while contending for a championship when he hits his prime.

IF, IF , IF this trade happens............

people leave out the fact that Allen is a lot more of an engaging personality that Ben is and he and AB could easily. build some chemistry together.

We shall see. Let's not put the cart before the horse.

Idk i still think rapsheet is right on this.

he put his credibility on the line big time. Don’t think he would have unless he was sure. Rg3 confirmed it too, for whatever it’s worth

It’s over fun while it lasted

Maybe, but it definitely puts them in the playoff picture.

Heres the thing, the colts, jets, and browns have cap space and are going to spend for the marquee players whether it be tyrell williams, leveon bell, or matt paradis.

Its better for the bills to jump ahead of them and get the best WR available.

Besides who would you rather pay big money to? Brown or Tyrell?

Not if the Bills don't properly upgrade that offensive line and Allen is running more then needed again this year.

I'm hoping JW is correct and the Bills draft a top WR, top TE and build that offensive line. If the Bills are going to overpay I hope it's for experienced O line players.

To that last sentence, neither!  Nothing wrong with a run-first offense to help that young QB develop.
