Or he could play decent, make Peterman history, give us a look at a possible long term back up and send us into the bye with a win. Either way I say start Barkley. Give Allen that extra 2 weeks rest and let him come out of the bye ready to rip. As for Peterman, let him be inactive and have the backup be a combination of direct snap to Pryor Shady Ivory and Logan Thomas. Just start Barkley with Allen as the “backup” Get him back in game mode but save the bullets on that elbow. Make him the backup but with no intention of playing.
