TT is perfect for the Browns he did leave them to their first non defeat in almost 2 years! Lol that said I think he be a good mentor for Mayfield and the Browns have looked good their first 3 games.. their D is scary good  and with Mayfield their O should be better balanced.

What is Taylor going to mentor Mayfield about? Surely not being a QB.

It’s quite sad, Taylor had such a good deep ball that one year and was always on point deep.

Sadly that guy just doesn’t read the field at all he is always one read and scramble.

Jets showed perfectly how to play him last night and he missed open receivers constantly. Even when he decided to throw to the wide open receiver he missed. His career as a starter is over for sure

And Beane got a 3rd rounder for him.

Yes he did. And it was still a smart move for the Browns. They had plenty of picks and needed someone who can play it safe for them. Turnovers were a giant part of their demise the last few years. Their plan was smart, and now that baker won the job the pressure is off. Starting day one is hard. Pressure is still there just a little less now that he’s already come in as the savior and won the first game in two years

We are only two weeks and one game into the QB5's rookie season, but at least as of now it looks like they were slotted "correctly" in the draft. Mayfield looks better than Darnold who looks better than Allen. Granted we haven't seen Rosen, but this is all we have to go on at the moment. Mayfield is silly accurate.

But like everyone has said...Allen has highest ceiling. I just hope he gets there.

The same national media that bashed McDermott for benching Tyrod after his 56 yard game were out in full force last night with “Tyrod the terrible” tweets and “Tyrod would never make that throw”. #receipts!!!!!

Well, we know that's because as everyone knows, Buffalo is full of racists.

But Bills fans who just wanted to move on are all racists who don't understand that you can win with Tyrod as long as he has the right pieces around him and a good defense.

He has weapons around him that he never had in Buffalo, they said all spring and summer!!. (Not true of course, he had Watkins, Woods, Goodwin and McCoy in 2015 and 2016)

the constant bashing of the Bills for taking away his WR Watkins, etc and setting him up to fail is especially laughable given that they obviously knew well enough not to build around him, but rather accumulate picks than rebuild the team without him.

TT cant seem to get it together in spotlight games, where the whole world is watching.  He's not a great QB but generally he's not as bad as last night

He is as bad as last night everytime a team plays him a certain way where they limit his abiliry to get out of the pocket. Jets dis it last year and so did NO.

That's the problem, he is pretty easy to defend.  Until he can beat the blitz consistently, teams will keep blitzing him.  The Jets D was totally different when Mayfield entered the game as he makes much quicker decisions.  Sadly, teams will keep blitzing Allen until he learns how to make them pay...

Yeah, I don't see Taylor as a good mentor of anything...

If he can ever develop to that point, remains to be seen.
