Positives from ugly loss?

Okay, there were obviously a lot of negatives from the game.  But what about the few things that they actually did right?

From my point of view:

  • Run defense looked improved
  • Tremaine Edmunds looked sharp from what I could see.  He made a few plays
  • Marcus Murphy returning kickoffs looked dangerous
  • Bojorquez (spelling?) seemed to do a decent job punting

Anything else?

Ravens averaged  a bit over 5 yards per carry. Strongly disagree on the improvement of run D

I agree about Tremaine Edmunds and Marcus Murphy. I still like Matt Milano.

According to ESPN they averaged 3.4 / carry.  And the only reason it's that high is because of Jackson.  Maybe you heard them talking specifically about Jackson who was the only player averaging above 5?

That is....sadly...a bold statement.  What's you're top 3?

No that's a fact.

44 points was the 2nd biggest margin of victory in a loss in franchise history.

The worst loss ever was MNF against he Pats in 2007 (46 points).

There's a positive... it wasn't the worst loss ever in the franchise's history.  Only the second worst.   ?

They're professionals, not kids who need to be coddled. No positives from me.

Lol.  Name calling, real mature my friend.  Just because they got crushed doesn't mean that individuals didn't perform well in their particular role.

I thought all the starting linebackers looked good.  Milano was flying all over the field.

Yeah I agree about Milano.  Even Lorenzo Alexander seemed to be doing okay, from what I could see.  He was a real weakness last year.  That one hit that he had on Buck Allen (I think it was him?) was pretty nice.  Lorax lead the team in tackles

I didn't mean you specifically are a loser, but I could see how it could come across that way. My bad.

It's just how I feel about the team, sure some guys were solid but I don't want to hear anyone being praised after today by people associated with the team. They're losers if they do that in my opinion.

Again, I could be wrong, but I feel like you interpreted it as me calling you specifically a loser. Which wasn't my intention at all.

No, your a loser when you call others losers for seeing positives from a sporting event. Even if they lost 100 to 0 there could still be some positives that come from it. No one is using it as excuses, or coddling players with it. But to have watched the game and seen absolutely no positives from it, you should probably go find a better way to spend your sundays.

Again check my other post, I can understand why it would appear I'm calling the OP a loser but I genuinely was not. It's my fault for not being clearer.

But for the rest of it, no, I saw no positives out of it. If I could have predicted that I would have done something else. I find it funny you continue on this tirade that even if they lost 100-0 You could still find positives but have yet to mention one.

I apologized to the guy and it was a genuine misunderstanding

Yeah,  I mean we maybe saw glimpses of potential improvement early but one thing never fails........when a team is getting outplayed and outcoached they start making business decisions.    Wasn't very long into the game and the defense was already trying to stay in front of their legs so they didn't get rolled up on and that was tacking on yardage to carry after carry in the second half.

Yep. The team kind of gave up after the first quarter. Surely there were individual plays made. And a bunch of guys trying. But both offense and defense looked like Nate looked. Shell shocked.

Biggest positive is that Josh Allen is now the starting QB of the Bills, even if McD doesn't say so.  He might idiotically cling to Pickerman for one more week, but if he doesn't make the switch soon, he may not be here much longer.  What an unmitigated disaster of a gameplan.  Reminded me of Gailey saddling up Fitz instead of giving the ball to Lynch and Fred.

1. Edmunds

2. Allen made it through the game without injury.

3. No one died

4. The Bills made it out of Baltimore, the venereal disease capital of the US, without incident (we hope).

5. And with a franchise known for four straight Super Bowl defeats, and its greatest player being suspected of double

homicide...Peterman isn't necessarily the worst thing in Bills history.

Allen didn’t get injured

Only a matter of time til the o-line exposes him to a massive knockout blow.
