I don’t get what cheerleaders add... irrespective of gender- keep that potential class class action away from my team.  

 

It’s silly that a small gaggle of folks have tried to turn a marginally subsidized hobby club into a fair wage job...

Never really paid any attention to the Jill’s anyway. I’m there for the game. But to be honest Imo male dancers are just a negative distraction. After the all this “kneeling” crap, which isn’t over yet, this is all the more reason to exercise my right to choose to spend my time and money elsewhere! Unless you have some other source than the link posted, all that seems way more about you than about the male cheerleaders.  The article linked gives the names of 2 male professional dancers who auditioned successfully for the Rams squad.  Professional male dancers audition for a dance gig, alert the media - I'm sure that resulted from a big national social justice agenda and not just dudes wanting another gig. 

 

Then, according to the article, a male professional dancer auditioned for the Saints after his mommy saw an article about the Rams auditions and encouraged him to try out.  Mommy encouragement is a powerful force, but it's usually about what the kid wants and not "appeasing irrational people" "faux sense of equality" or any of those other good Buzz Terms.

 

Why do you think this is "seemingly" some grand force and agenda?  Back in Da Day when cheerleaders were more about leading cheers and less about scanty costumes, male cheerleaders were relatively common, so you could just call this "retro"

 

Edit: here's an interview.  One of the two Rams male cheerleaders said he was watching the Laker girls, thought to himself "why can't I be down there on the sidelines like that?", called a friend and found out when the audition was, and showed up.  No national Feminazi Social Justice agenda, just a dancer wanting a gig
