I also believe his personality would be a good fit. Short players get fewer opportunities to be QB. Baker was a walk on because of his height he wasn’t given an opportunity he earned it. Brees and Wilson showed that players who overcame their height to get a shot at QB and played well can make it in the NFL. I watched a few full games and the offense rolls him out for middle downfield stuff, otherwise it’s outside, outside, outside from the pocket. if you didn’t like TTs limitations you will have a problem with BM... Per Mayfield's draft profile strengths section: - Accurate on all three levels - Drops touch throws over top of linebackers trailing in coverage Doesn't really say anything about his ability to throw down the middle of the field from the pocket in his weaknesses section.
