This is a meaningless game where they can give Mahomes snaps and evaluate him for next year. If it's a total dumpster fire they then have reason to rethink moving Smith. And even if Mahones plays great I seriously doubt Andy Reid would pull a Rob Johnson/Doug Flutie move unless of course the Chiefs owner pulls a Ralph Wilson first. And as I said from that point: he's got the most raw ability in the class, and I think the upside is limitless; I also wouldn't be surprised if he struggled to adapt early on.
