Awesome. Hope he does well.

At least they don't have a dumb owner who will then turn around and decide to start him for the playoffs if he has a good game....benching the starter that lead them to the playoffs in the first place.

Chiefs are averaging about 29 PPG over the last month. Reid gave the play calling duties over to Nagy around that time frame.

This is a meaningless game where they can give Mahomes snaps and evaluate him for next year. If it's a total dumpster fire they then have reason to rethink moving Smith.

Regardless of what he does on Sunday he will be on the bench in the playoffs unless Smith gets hurt.

Jeff was a Johnny-come-lately with regard to Mahomes.

Blokes and I were the ones that started that train in motion in June of 2016.

And as I said from that point: he's got the most raw ability in the class, and I think the upside is limitless; I also wouldn't be surprised if he struggled to adapt early on.

Jeffismagic is somewhere lighting candles and praying to his Mahomes jockstrap shrine at this very moment.

Has anyone checked in on him? I hope his heart can take this!

Yep, that should never be a surprise, regardless of how promising the prospect may seem.
