If Bills win, anyone know what needs to happen for the colts to get the 7 seed specifically?

That's best case scenario imo

Colts are win and in. Same with Texans. Question is the winner the 7 seed or 4

Not really expecting this last game to be possibly do or die.   A little bummed.

It's just like a playoff game to me, so just gotta get yourself into the do or die mindset, no more mulligans.

Amazing to think this will be for the #2 Seed, with a Bills loss meaning they are out of the playoffs (I'm assuming the early games don't go the Bills' way). They better get the offense fixed, pronto.

Many saw this coming at schedule release. This game is for it all with #2 seed on the line as well. Miami coming in with some serious injuries as well. In addition to Mostert and Waddle to monitor...Chubb left the game late as well on a cart.

We can win this.

Edit:

Both fans and more importantly the Bills should stop counting Dolphin injuries,  if we come out like we started our past two games against trash teams it won't matter.  Bills offence needs to start this game with pace,  they cannot worry about running the ball.  Chubb is gone for the season and they already lost lost their best pass rusher earlier this season.  Pass the ball and get Allen going early,  don't wait until you fall behind

If Bills win AND Jax wins AND Colts win then Colts are #7 and go to Buffalo.

Miami fans online are cracking me up - they think the move to primetime is the end of the season for them.

Have they been that bad in primetime games?  I feel like we haven't been great either.

I believe if JAX win then they win the divison and will be the 4th seed irrespective of whether IND or HOU win their game.

Winner of IND-HOU will compete with PIT and BUF/MIA for the remaining two wild cards.

I’m hoping fins not as motivated since they have a spot locked up

#2 seed gets two home playoff games.  Plenty of motivation

Yes if jags win they win division. But if they lose the winner is the winner of the game the day before. So the winner of the Saturday colts Texans game will be either the 7 seed (likely) or 4 seed (if jags lose)

Miamis entire strength is built around pass rushing specialists and they lost most of their good ones…that NE defense we saw today is significantly better than Miami’s defense if Howard doesn’t play.  I don’t even think it’s close

the pats play really good team defense while the dolphins depend on winning individual matchups so they’re a lot less plug and play than the pats

Well they won’t be able to rely on the sun beating up their opponents during the game now

Would be the Steelers if they win and Jags lose

Yep, am I correct that if we win, the 7 seed either needs to be Colts, Texans or Steelers?  The latter depending on the Jags game, like you said?

Kind of weird that it will be us and Miami playing the last regular season game for the whole NFL.  It will be the only thing left to decide and the spotlight will be bright.  Who will stand tall and who will wilt?  I'm looking forward to it!

I love how they mock other fanbases that complain their sideline is 30 degrees hotter than Miami’s early in the season 😂. Like….thats obviously a massive advantage lol

Happy that the Steelers and Jags games (the two deciding wild card potential) are viewable before our game in different time slots. Gives me something to look forward to Saturday and Sunday afternoon without feeling like I have to have it.

Sunday night will be either no pressure, just play loose and get the dub we’re in either way, or full send gotta get this done sugar rush.

Glad we’ll know ahead of time.

I think this is it for the Dolphins window. If they don't win this game they won't win the Superbowl with Tua and McDaniels. Their salary cap is worse than the Bills and they still have to pay Tua and Waddle. They went all in on this season and failing to win the division would be devastating for them. So Bills gonna beat them by 10

Bills played a close wild card game against a banged up Dolphins team last year that they could of lost. I don't want them to look at those injuries and think it's in the bag.

plus, nothing is official yet.  okay i agree chubb is probably out but every other player mentioned could play.  there's no reason to believe at this point that miami will be any more banged up than the average nfl team at this stage of the season.  or that they'll be more banged up than the bills.

That was a really bizarre game…we were inches on a few deep shots from Josh goin off for 600+ yards and absolutely destroying them..  down a few pass rushers and possibly a corner i don’t think they can roll with that same gameplan again

Does this primetime Sunday game mean that the 2 seed will play next next Sunday, and not on Saturday? Anyone know?

Anything goes, so no.

Take 2021:

Game 272: Chargers-Raiders,

Saturday WC 4:30 PM: Raiders-Bengals.

Like it was for the bills early in the season,it’s the players that are injured on the defensive side for them, not the total amount of injuries.  They like to get after the passer and play a lot of man and Howard not at 100% and down Chubb and jaelan Phillips really hurts

I have a question for the board. Does the playing at night in Prime time in your opinion an advantage or disadvantage to the Bills.

I mean I know they need to prepare the same regardless. I guess Im curious as to if you think it adds good or bad pressure to the team playing in Prime time in such a crucial game as this

at least it won't be 100 degrees and 100% humidity  @-@

It sucks for Miami. They are horrible on SNF and primetime.

What makes you think the team would look at it that way?

I think FANS look at things this way all the time.

I think pro athletes go out and try their best pretty much regardless of surrounding circumstances.

"Trap games" and the like are fictions.

At the end of the day, the Dolphins have nothing to play for this week but pride. We need this game to get in. I think they rest their banged up starters against us.

Except 2 seed, home playoff game and AFCCG at home should Baltimore stumble.  I would say that is a lot to play for plus potentially knocking hated Bills and Josh Allen out of the playoffs.

so the most the Dolphins can hope for is the division title and a sole home game on wild card weekend, correct?

Agreed, there is a lot riding on this game for both teams.  It's a big game.  For the Bills we will know just how big before kickoff.  For us it may or may not be do or die, while for the Dolphins they are in either way.  Regardless of that aspect, for either the difference between a lower seed and the #2 seed is big and both will be playing with desire to win.

If the Dolphins win they get the 2 seed, which means a home game on wild card weekend and if they win that, a home game on divisional weekend

but if I'm coach Pinky and the Brain, I care more about going into the playoffs with my starters healthy than I do about a home game on wildcard weekend. If I can get Mostert, Chubb and Tua back on two weeks rest, I care more about that than getting a home game on wildcard weekend.

could Patty Boy actually have to play a postseason game on the road finally?!? 😱
