And here is an "all combine interview" mock (except the last two picks - no players on this list left.....)

I only know of the Guard an RB, but love the overall positions targeted.

I would LOVE this draft. Robinson is a top 5 talent, Jayden Reed is gonna be a really good receiver, and Brown hits like a truck. Vorhees would be a great value late and will only be there due to injury.

Miller is a smart playmaker and sure tackler, but he isn’t the fastest guy.  Seems like an odd choice for Bills D style.   They seem to value speed more than anything. Good player though.

Interesting that they didn’t have any draft interviews with more Linebackers. With Edmunds seemingly out the door, one would think they would have talked to more than one prospect during the event. Especially with several “McDermott Character” players who attended both the Combine and Senior Bowl;

Cam Jones - Indiana

DeMarvion Overshown - Texas (Even more curious he wasn’t at the Dinner with Bijan and Roschan)

Ivan Pace - Cincinnati

Daiyan Henley - Washington St.

SirVocea Dennis - Pitt’

Aubrey Miller Jr. - Jackson St.

Dorian Williams - Tulane

DJ Johnson - Oregon

Jack Campbell - Iowa (did not participate in the Senior Bowl)

Dee Winters - TCU

Even more confusing is that on top of these Seniors, there was some others I thought would garner some conversation with the Bills at the draft in;

Owen Pappoe - Auburn

Henry To’oTo’o - Bama

Noah Sewell - Oregon

Drew Sanders - Arkansas

Maybe the likelihood of Edmunds returning is a strong possibility in the FO’s mind?

Personally, Dorian Williams looks like an ideal replacement for a team that is heavily fielding a nickel personnel. Very good in coverage and a decent feel for the development of plays.  Aside from him could Boise State’s JL Skinner add on 15-20lbs and be converted into a LB that would be eerily similar to Edmunds?

EDIT P.S.

Not the biggest fan of Tremaine but that’s only due to draft placement and potential contract without the lack of absolute game changing plays by him over the course of his tenure in Buffalo. However… could do a lot worse.

I guess this means we'll sign a couple big name OL before the draft maybe??? We need a RG and RT at least. I don't want to even think about Bates and Brown starting again. What will it take for OBD to learn that you can't just throw a bunch of backup caliber OL out there and expect to win a SB?

Beane recently talked up Brown pretty strongly.  Seemed like Brown was still in good standing.  I know it's GM lying season but gave the impression that he really liked Brown.  I agree with you though.  They should bring in legitimate competition for RT.

Bergeron in a trade down into the second and Tank Dell in round three would be an excellent beginning of the draft

With the signing of Harty, I think he is the small WR that they will roll with.  I would be surprised if they took Dell in the draft unless he lasted into the middle rounds, say round 4 or later.  He is just so small and I think they've plenty well addressed the slot at this point with Shakir, Harty and now Sherfield.

I mean the Bills brought him in for a visit so they must still be looking. I am a little incredulous that Sherfield or Harry will be long term answers in our WR room. This is a great year to get a slot superstar between JSN, Flowers, Downs, Dell and Jarrett. Certainly missed that in our offense last year.

I’m not saying that any of Harty, Sherfield and Shakir are so established that they couldn’t find someone in the draft who is better - and I really like JSN, Flowers and Downs - but with plenty odd needs on OL, LB, S, and maybe DT and DE, it seems like a better plan to address those needs, including a WR who can play out wide (with at least average size to do so).

I would not be upset if they added any of JSN, Flowers and Downs.

Probably a stupid question, but what does PRI stand for?

Here's the Walterfootball key:

SR - Senior Bowl meeting.
EW - East-West Shrine meeting.
COM - Combine meeting.
INT - Interested.
VINT - Very Interested.
PRO - Pro Day or campus meeting/workout.
LOC - Local visit. Prospect making a local visit.
PRI - Private visit. Prospect making an official 30 visit.
WOR - Private Workout. Members of an organization working out a player in private.
STM - Some Type of Meeting.
VIR - Virtual Meeting.
% - indicates more than one meeting at an event.
^ - has met with team at more than one event.
# - indicates meeting set up outside of the 2023 Senior Bowl or the 2023 East-West Shrine Game

Sometimes they hide visits. Like last year the Elam visit came out really late in the process. Sometimes the key is looking at the positions they are bringing in. Like last year they met with a ton of linebackers and drafted two, but neither were reported visits.

Guys, they drafted who they reportedly met with last year:

Kaiir Elam

James Cook

Matt Araiza

UDFA Jalen Wydermyer (signed)

In 2021:

Jack Anderson

In 2020:

Zach Moss

So sometimes you have to look at what isn't being reported to get clues.

So on OBL, Maddie Glab, Tasker and Brown did a “mock draft watch”.  Apparently a number of mock drafts by pundits have the Bills taking with Trenton Simpson or Iowa LB Jack Campbell in the 1st.

I see Trenton Simpson on your list, but what about Jack Campbell, any word that the Bills have had interviews with him at all?  He’s not on Ryan Talbot’s list either

Two WR to whom Greg Cosell gave a nod, Jordan Addison and Zay Flowers, both on the list.

Nothing public about Campbell yet, but as someone else said here, sometimes that might just mean they don't want to telegraph interest.

No need for an actual meeting with Campbell I would believe. I'm sure Luke has told Beane and McDermott all they need to know, then they have the tape as well.

Jeremiah said Campbell has been training in preparation for the combine with retired NFL great Luke Kuechly, the ultimate NFL linebacker in terms of combination of talent and instincts.
