Gugny
Local (Albany, NY) radio station DJ posted on Facebook that Antonio Brown “has an announcement” in Albany tomorrow. Coincidentally, the Albany Empire (AFL team) has a press conference scheduled for tomorrow. Antonio’s father, Eddie, was an AFL player for Albany for years. Looks like AB is joining the ownership group and his dad will have a role, as well. https://www.timesunion.com/sports/article/albany-empire-adding-antonio-brown-ownership-group-17814407.php "Albany, New York. I'm here," Antonio Brown, standing on a balcony, said in a video posted Wednesday evening on his Twitter account. "It's a big announcement in the morning. Stay tuned." Should AB deliver on this hope, who can say that he’s wrong. Albany Empire has always put out a competitive and successful team, but no one goes to the games. @LeviF could likely provide more color, as he is mor of a local than I am. MJS
Wow. I would not want any business of any kind associated with or tied up with AB. That seems like a disaster waiting to happen. 1
JDubya76
If he does become the owner, and if I was working for him, I would ask for my salary up front. Less chance of him “forgetting” to pay me like he did the personal chef.

Well, whatever the case, Albany is a fun town, been to many Dl hockey tournaments there going back well over two decades. They always did a good job being hospitable. No, but he's gone above and beyond in proving that he's unlikeable over the past six or seven years, and to understate it. Anyone that likes Antonio Brown now deserves whatever he dishes out to them when, not if, it comes at them. Albany,n.y.
When the original Arena Football League came to Albany, I used to go to Firebirds games. Even had seasons as part of a group in the mid 1990s. I haven't been to an Empire game & have no plans to attend. Back in the old original league some players were either ex NFL players or in some rare cases, like Kurt Warner, future NFL stars. That just doesn't happen anymore in the league the Empire is in. I remember seeing guys like Art Schlichter, and Browning Nagle (with the Destroyers) play.
