klos63 Posted October 26, 2021 Share Posted October 26, 2021 Carroll explained during a Zoom call on Thursday(June 2020) that he has tremendous respect for Kaepernick and the biggest reason why Seattle didn’t sign him in 2017 was because the quarterback was “so obviously a starter.” The Seahawks head coach then explained that they’re not considering Kaepernick this time around, either, indicating that Seattle is comfortable with Geno Smith as its backup to Russell Wilson.
