My friend sent me this, essentially $1.00 per month. Hope it works for anyone who may want to join. They other teams don't get nearly the level of coverage the Bills do, but that's not to say it is poor. The guys they have working the Bills beat are a step above. I also follow a european soccer team (my only other team worldwide, in any sport. I cant root for any other team in the USA, in any sport except maybe college football, maybe) and the Athletic is excellent with the coverage. And I do miss getting my Shout! in the mail. Great read. Cool cool - I am a huge Flyers fan as well as a Golf fan. Coverage there is just unreal. I will be honest I have not looked at the Jests - who cares!...The Cheats - I don't care and the Fish - again - who cares. If THIER fan base was as rabid as Bills Mafia they would also have Balls To The Walls coverage. Some of the general football or hockey or golf or soccer articles are aces. The main reason I like it is that when I am working out at the gym (on an elliptical, stairmaster or treadmill), I cannot read from a phone, but I can from a paper magazine. I have never paid for any online content behind a paywall. That all changed today. I have seen and heard great things about the Athletic's content, and at $1 a month for the first year, it was too good to pass up. I hate auto-renewals, so I will probably cut it off at one year, but many thanks to the OP for alerting us to this offer.
