Saw him in the game a few times in the huddle but I don't remember a single play he made.  No catches...even mainstays like Quinton Morris and Lance Lenoir had a catch in the game...granted they ran the ball a lot more in the beginning, but it would have been nice to see him carry over his training camp heroics into actual game action.

Maybe because Trubisky threw it twice?  It was the first pre-season game.  LOL!

I agree he wasn’t targeted on either of the pass attempts he was in the game for. Cut him.

Maybe...Kumerow was in the game on those 11 snaps of the first 2 drives because they wanted to look at his downfield RUN BLOCKING

And since we ran for like 51 yds on those 2 drives (including a 15 yd run called back for a holding penalty on Hart).....maybe he Did His Job.

Mods, shouldn't this be in the "Overreaction Saturday" thread?

I do find it surprising that a journeyman who has never really been a major contributor or even had a great regular season game that I’m aware of has become such a “lock” to make the team that he doesn’t even have to play in early preseason games.

I mean considering the praise Roger's has given him it's not like it just fell out of the sky.

Speaking of high-motor lunch-pailers, what did Tanner Gentry do?

Saw 23 snaps (38%) from Drive 3 to the end of the game.  Played in the slot.  Split snaps there with Brandon Powell, who was 3 receptions on 4 targets for 14 yds.

Gentry was 0 for 1.

Can't tell you if that's 'cuz he wasn't getting open, or just wasn't getting targeted by Webb/Fromm

Don't know, but his favorite food is Vanilla ice cream and his hobby is making Hemp bracelets.  All in Bills Media Guide:

He played 2 drives on offense and some ST as well.  If he's a "lock" it's at #5 or #6.

You see, over the past couple decades, teams don't rely on preseason games to evaluate many of their players.  This isn't a concern for the Kumerow camp.

Like others have speculated,  Kumerow has probably already made this team. We're not going to see alot of starters this preseason, as it should be. And re- establishing a decent running game has to be a priority. Singletary looked good. Nothing to see here on this thread.

Watched the replay Twice. Both Feet off ground. Ball secured landed out of bounds. Not even CLOSE

His foot clearly kicks up rubber or dirt.

Are you wearing the same prescription glasses as the Refs😉

I'm all for zero preseason games like last year.

How much of a kickback did you get from NFLPA?

Except he DID but no need to stop irrational ranting since that is all you have.

He played 10 downs, eight of which were runs. Not exactly being asked to show what he can do. But carry on with YOUR ranting. Lol.

I think you should write an indignant letter to McDermott informing him of your dissatisfaction with the play calling on the first 2 series.

Next.

Clearly it isn’t and the left foot is a good 6 inches in the air. Try again and next time don’t mistake a shadow for something it isn’t

It was well on its way before that one started, but I cross-linked it

It was more sarcasm for the OP then a suggestion. In fact, saying it should be in that thread was the kindest thing I could say....😁
