They switch defenses like refs blow game day calls. Constantly. Why do teams keep letting him go? If I understood correctly LA wanted to go back to the 4-3 defense to get Donald more involved as the DT. The only thing I can think is he gets a title promotion and then Butler sees a path to something more. Maybe the hire last week of the Dline coach and former Panthers DC has him questioning if he will get the DC in Buffalo when Leslie moves on. If Stefanski makes it, they will move on from Wade when they don't need him anymore. Essentially, Stefanski does not have to worry about teh defensive side of teh ball. Jerry Jones was the poster child for continuity, hanging on to Jason Garrett for nine years, with only three playoff performances to show for it. Wade Phillips is less than a year removed from having a defense capable of contributing to an NFC championship. and is ash canned because he is viewed as not being the guy to be able to move the defense forward again.
