.....I will be rooting hard for the Bills this week....I HATE the Broncos.  I hope not only do the Bills win this game, but that Josh Allen goes 280, 3 TD passing and a rushing TD as he escapes Von Miller all game long.  It would make me happy to see some Broncos fans remorseful over passing Josh Allen in the draft.  Thank you.  that is all.

Now that's the same Josh Allen that you said on the Orange Mane message board that you're not a fan of and you find to be highly inaccurate, right?

Just trying to keep The Troll Report straight.

I mean if we lose this game playoffs are finished tbh. most important game of the season.

and it really would look bad on this coaching staff if we can't beat a 3-7 team with a mediocre QB in a must win game

- Doubt it happens, but hoping that Duke Williams/Foster/McKenzie are all active on Sunday (surely there is a depth player at another position that could sit?). Duke gives us a size element that we have been missing, Foster's deep speed needs to be respected even if we haven't hit many deep passes this year, and McKenzie is our jet sweep/gadget play guy.

That could be Siran Neal.  He's in concussion protocol and did not practice again today.  If Foster plays special teams, it could mean activating Duke at WR.

Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Thursday guard Dalton Risner (ankle) and center Connor McGovern (back) will not practice for the second consecutive day. Risner, McGovern and guard Ron Leary did not practice Wednesday. Fangio still expects all three players to play Sunday against Buffalo, but expect the Bills defense to crowd the line of scrimmage plenty to see how the Broncos handle things up front.

I see where you're coming from, Stank, but truthfully, I don't think you can lose a home game in late November to a team playing .300 football and call yourselves playoff-worthy.

the saints just lost to a 1 win falcons team 2 weeks ago. its the NFL man. that crap happens weekly... anytime people say things similar to what that poster was spewing I honestly wonder if they are 13 yrs old and if they've watched more than a season or 2 of NFL football.

it would be a blow to the nuts. but its far from a season ender. teams around the league win games they shouldn't weekly. why wouldn't we be able to do the same? lets get real here.

lol underdogs against the Mason Rudolph led Steelers, nope.

Probably at this point.  A point or so underdogs going into Pittsburgh who won four straight before the Browns loss with Rudolph and Hodges.

EXCEPT -

I just watched the Denver (3-7) vs Vikings (8-3) game and Denver TOTALLY dominated the Vikings the majority of the game.

Score was Den 20 - Viks 0 at the half. It was Den 23 and Viks 7 to begin the forth quarter.

DENVER is a formidable team - DON'T let the 3-7 fool ya!

They are 3-7 for a reason.  Buffalo should win these kind of games especially at home.  If not they deserve to be on the outside looking in at the playoffs at the end of the season.

Denver at Buffalo: Key injuries

The critical factor to know is that three Denver offensive line starters — Dalton Risner (ankle), Connor McGovern (back) and Ron Leary (shoulder/neck) sat out Wednesday’s practice and replacement starter Ju’Wuan James (knee) was limited. Buffalo offensive lineman Ty Nsekhe likely isn’t going to play because of an ankle injury and DE Jerry Hughes (groin) missed practice Wednesday. Like last week, Hughes will likely be listed as questionable, though he did play against Miami.

Man, a kick or punt return TD from Roberts in a game like this would be massive. He has been really close to getting one for the last few weeks, the blocking has been great as well.

Roberts has been a quality returner, he hasn't broken off that super big return just yet. But he has had a lot of 8-15 yard returns on punts and 30-40 yard kickoff returns that both help shift field position and make a difference. Roberts is a highly underrated acquisition, the return game last year was a mess and they added a top 5 or at worst 10 returner for very affordably.

I really like how the Bills matchup against the Broncos. I think on defense the Bills can shut down the Broncos if they can take the run away. They should be able to accomplish this by putting Tre on their one wide receiver,Sutton, who is good. Milano and one of the safeties need cover Fant. Should leave a ton of guys to play in the box. Interesting to see who the coaches put out their on the other side of Tre, Johnson or Wallace. Love for you guys going to the game to see the first pick six of the year. This game feels like the Browns a few years ago when Johnny Football started.
looking for Beasley to have a day this Sunday. Love to see him get 10 targets.
Bills are staring at 8-3! Love it!

What you said onThe Orange Mane message board, 06-30-2019, 10:35 PM

"Josh Allen (the QB) has been getting a lot of run this offseason as a guy to watch....big improvement coming etc etc. I wouldn't have drafted Josh Allen, and I was dissappointed that hte Broncos passed him becasue I thought he would suck....You all took of course took Chubb...passing both Allen and Rosen.  I haven't seen much of anyone here talking about it, but was it a mistake to pass on Allen?  He's fun to watch play....his accuracy sucks..but he can run and scramble. The roster around him wasn't all that good but he's never been accurate. At this point....knowing now that Keenum sucked, and you have Flacco.....would you rather have taken Allen in 2018 or still gone with Chubb?"

I leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine if "I thought he would suck" "his accuracy sucks" and "he's never been accurate" is reasonably captured as "NOT A FAN".

Don't see anything about him improving or "concerns" or "skeptical"

No. It’s not even close to the end of the discussion. It’s a silly comment. It’s especially funny that you talk about it as such an absolute.

Yes....where does it say I am not a fan?  Also...I made that post on June 30th.  In the same thread, once games started....this is also me "Allen looks to have taken some real strides....he's looked pretty good so far....."  Sept 16th.

and " he's young and has at least taken a step in the right direction.." October 18th.

and on November 8th

Last 4 games. Allen 7 passing TDS vs 1 INT. He does seem to be incrementally improving. Still a somewhat low comp % on the year but it’s up from last year. Looking more like it might have been a mistake to pass on him as the weeks go by.

Whenever I have given my thoughts on Allen here....I have said that I like him and that it has always concerned me about his comp % (yes Transplant...I have read your mathematical novel about this topic)  I have stated that I am a fan who remains skeptical.  I have not said anything different there....and I have demonstrated that I am seeing improvement and that my initial evaluation is looking more and more off.  I have said as much here.....and have said I have been rooting for Allen to prove me and all the analytics people wrong.

I think, if someone says “I thought he would suck” “his (main attribute for position) sucks” I don’t think it’s a stretch to summarize that take as “not a fan”

Well, I’m certainly hoping Allen proves you and all the analytics people wrong.

No shame in changing your mind one way or the other, I just think you should own your starting position as well as whether/how you’ve changed it.  You weren’t telling the whole story here.

And by the way, no offense, but don’t hou think being on another team’s fan board so much that you’re tagged as some kind of super-use is a little strange?

Of course it is.  But.....I have a job where I work 12 shifts at a time, and I monitor a certain computer system that doesn't have all that many problems, but when it does, they need someone around that understands it and can fix it....and so I have A LOT of down time at work that goes by really slow unless I do things like "troll" message boards and what not.  So even at that...yeah...you could say it's an odd way spend the time...but given the choice of taking my kids to the park or having dinner with my wife etc etc...I'd be doing those things instead of this.....the circumstances are such that I have time to kill and this is one of the ways I do it.

The Browns game was away and the Browns were a talented but underachieving team. That game was a toss up in my opinion. The Broncos are 3-7 and a team whose talent level reflects their record add in the fact this is a home game and this is an absolute must win.
