Jpsredemption
I don’t know but I wouldn’t take Lamar Jackson or Flacco. Both teams should be striving to be better at that position.

He certainly didn't take kindly to it when Jackson was drafted.

CincyBillsFan
I think the Broncos can win 8 - 9 games with Flacco at QB. The Ravens are going to face the challenge of running that offense next year after the leagues DC's get a whole off season to dissect it. Unlike Allen's most productive runs which came off of scrambles, the Ravens rely a lot on designed QB runs. I think that production will drop as NFL D's catch up and I also think the risk of injury to Jackson goes up as well. And while I can't rule out that Jackson won't be able to make the transition to being a decent passing QB there's no guarantee here either. I think the Ravens defense will weaken and their offense will not be as productive. I look for them to win only 7 - 8 games next year.

formerlyofCtown
The Ravens are a stable franchise. The Broncos are in flux. The Ravens may be looking for a QB a few years from now though, unless Lamar puts some meat on his bones. Not worried about either of these teams in the near future. It's KC who we will have to battle. For some strange reason I don't see Mayfield (Browns) or Darnold (Jets) as threats....It will be Josh and Patrick battling it out like Kelly & Marino. ThurmasThoman
I honestly don't think Lamar Jackson could spell "NFL". You saw what happened in the wild card round when there was enough accumulated evidence to build a game plan around his tendencies. I expect him to have a terrible second season and be out of the league in a few years. Listen to an interview with him, or even just look at his eyes. I know this is a new world where everyone needs to be nice to everyone, and abject truth's can't be spoken, but the guy is (as we used to say) as dumb as a box of rocks and I'm very, very glad that Buffalo didn't select him and force feigned optimism on their fans for 3 years. YoloinOhio
I don’t think either team makes the playoffs, but the Broncos have a tougher division, an unknown commodity as HC, and less talent across the board.

D Coordinators will have a better game plan against Jackson, and Fangio is an excellent Defensive mind for the Broncos. My vote is Denver, but am not underestimating the defense of the Ravens. The Broncos have the horses to do it with Chub and Miller.

whatdrought
I think Jackson has to take a step forward as a passer or else they’re going to really struggle. Buddo
Ravens. Based off of stability. Harbaugh is no mug, and will be staying around. He can call on his sibling to find out how best to use Jackson, if he hasn't already. They have a D that is good regardless. Too much coaching change in Denver for them to be better this coming season, imho. Their D will probably be very good again, but you have a new OC and scheme to get in place, and that will cause initial difficulties - they always seem to, no matter where they are implemented, even the Cheaters have trouble early on in seasons due to guys not being on the same/right page. eball
I know it's difficult to be critical of Harbaugh with all he has accomplished, but I still can't figure out what the hell he is thinking by handing over the keys to Lamar Jackson. He better figure out how to make Lamar a better passer in a hurry, because teams are going to study that tape of the playoff game and dare Jackson to beat them with his arm. I think Baltimore is probably an 8-8 team next year. They have a very difficult schedule on paper -- road games vs. KC, Rams, Seahawks, and home games vs. Pats*** and Texans (in addition to their division rivals). I could see 5-3 at home, 3-5 on the road. I have no idea what to think of Denver. Seriously. If Flacco gets protection he could be productive, but they are in a beast of a division with KC and the Chargers.

Over 29 years of fanhood
Skeptical about Lamar. I don’t think he’s going to be able to get it done after an offseason of opposing film study. Flacco has had ups and downs (reminds me of Carson Palmer). Owen Daniels might help him quite a lot. New coach did nice things with niners and bears defense. This is tough, I’m going Broncos just because it’s fun to go contrarian every so often
Alphadawg7
I voted Ravens, but its honestly close. Ravens will need their D to be strong again to keep games close because Lamar isnt going to put a ton of points up IMO unless he really takes a step forward as a passer. Broncos have to deal with both Chargers and Chiefs in their own division, but should field a better offense between the two with those RB's, Sanders and the young WR's, and Flacco as a veteran pocket QB. For now, I give the nod to Ravens just because they have an easier path to more wins, but I have a feeling these two teams will both be between 7 and 9 wins this year, so should be close.
