This question is somewhat tough and will likely be debated among different members here.

Who is the Buffalo Bills MVP for the 2019 season?  I have heard people suggest Lorenzo Alexander, Tre’Davious White, and even Matt Milano.

To me, the MVP is Josh Allen.  The offense did get a shot in the arm when he returned to the lineup after injury.  Each week Allen was probably the best player on the field for the offense, if not on the entire team.

But who would you suggest?

I chose Allen because obviously he plays QB so they get the nod on any offensive player unless you have a running back that just dominates.

Hi energy he brought to the team imo is what made him the choice as well.  It would be hard to give it to any defensive player as I thought they played well together and there was not one that dominated on that side of the ball.

Probably Milano, certainly something I never would have imagined. J Allen would be the most intriguing for sure and Sean McDermott is not a player.

He is a shoe in for MVC though.

Matt Milano. And it's not close, he has been the standout player easily.

Defensive MVP for sure.  I still think Allen had a bigger impact overall.

McDermott was a player

Milano was consistently good all season. I'd give it to him. White was good for most the season. He's my second.

Why no love for Tremaine? I’ve never seen anyone sack a QB and RB at the same time. I can’t find a video of that play.

One play can't get you an MVP! Edmunds had a good rookie year, but in my opinion Milano was better and consistently good all year.

McD can’t win bc of the overall record and the QB descisions early on, although I like how he keeps the team playing hard even after they are out of it.

Milano, Hughes, and White were all great, but I think Allen was the only Bill that changed the game when he was in there vs when he wasn’t.  T Edmunds prob was best non-QB player down the stretch post the bye.

There were too many times were Tremaine was out of position or blown up on the run.  He’s a big reason when the defense was cashed up the middle

Jordan Poyer is a glaring omission to me. He was the Bills best player this season IMO.

Good call.  Dude almost gets forgotten because he is so steady.

i criticize a bunch of things on this team but they are outstanding with the secondary.  Even more reason not to burn a high draft pick on one.

I chose Milano because he made the greatest impact on the defensive side of the ball. Without that defense, we're probably drafting first. Hard to choose anyone on offense as MVP considering how awful the unit was as a whole over the course of the season.

I didn't even bother thinking of second place after Jerry Hughes.

Surprised he wasn't that popular, all things considered... like half the board whining about how is held on every play and during timeouts and even jumping jacks in warmup...

Hauschka easily.Based on total season performance and not when he was jacked up and with a new holder.

Jerry Hughes #2.

Tre had a bit of a slip up this year.

honorable mention to Lorax

Nah...he loses point for his bad final games.  If he’s hurt he shouldn’t be on the field.  He hit the crossbar on a 43 yard FG

I agree, I just thought that sack last Sunday was crazy. Isn’t this about next seasons MVP?

Not shocking that it’s really hard to decide between so many defensive players, and there is only one offensive player you could seriously even consider. THAT was our season.

You need to add Jordan Poyer to your list OP, 100 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 INT, He started off shaky but was a huge reason why the Bills were a top 5 passing defense in the league, our safeties are top notch.

Ok done

Nah - he's just a coach. A good one, but still just a coach.

Beane, on the other hand - he's a player!

I know it was sort of a joke that he’s on the list

Ah, guess so. I interpreted it as last season, but 2019 is the current year, so...
