If he doesn't get fired then Coughlin will have to take a large portion of the blame and he ain't gonna do it regardless of whose actual fault this mess is. At some point in the second half I was worrying the Jags would get going, then I watch the replay of his pass and it's as bad a wounded duck ? as I've ever seen in the NFL or NCAA. You may be right. But this is a pretty big collapse. And I wouldn't have said what I did if Hackett wasn't just fired. Clearly scapegoatted. So I think Coughlin will say these weren't my guys. Now they will have to pay him like the Bills did Fitz when they released him because you don't pay a back up that kind of cash to sit the bench !! I haven't seen much of Bortles play besides the two games vs the Bills, but that is honestly all you need to see. Guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat Why did they keep him? Did Marrone prefer him? It seems unlikely, since one of the reasons he left the Bills was because EJ Manuel was being forced down his throat. you mean to tell me that he preferred Blake friggin Bortles going into the season?!
