  1. 1. Would you rather

    • Lose 6 straight - get top 5 pick
      31
    • Win 6 straight - not make playoffs (decided on week 17)
      102

Obviously totally hypothetical.

Would you rather have the excitement of being In the race until the final day of the season (think last year) but ultimately miss out because some other team pulls a 2017 Bengals...

or lose out and get a top 5 pick??

simple question with a lot of silliness.

Lol. it depends. is Alan playing and developing in those 6 games?

Don’t know.

Use your imagination.

I will assume that Barkley plays well next week and they let him play out the season.

And he leads us to a 7 game win streak (but we still miss the playoffs).

Win 6, easy choice for me.  High picks do not guarantee success in the NFL.  The only exception where tanking for a pick is arguably jusitifed is when a crop of franchise QB's are out.  2019 is a not QB heavy year for the draft and Allen was drafted last year.

I would rather see them go into next season with some momentum and hope that they can continue to find players with the Caliber of Tradaveous White in the later first round while getting some steals like Milano in late rounds.

We should always be rooting for the Bills to win.

Just because a team is in rebuilding mode, doesn't mean they should be trying to lose games.

The problem with too many on this board... they just can't reconcile those two concepts.

Allowing for the fact that either scenario is quite unlikely. Also, allowing for the fact that the OP his ****serious, The premises is completely silly. Of course you would want them to win out. If they did, they could, potential he make the playoffs. Even if they didn’t, if they win out that clearly means that the team is clicking on all cylinders. This includes defense and offense. It also means that Allen is evolving into a franchise quarterback. It is also some seriously great momentum going into next season. Who in their right mind would risk all of this for the possibility of a higher draft pick  that may or may not work out?

These ideas really have to be thought through better before they are posted!

Id rather WATCH them win the next 6, but this team would benefit more from better draft picks.  No way this team is making the playoffs and they highly likely wouldn't win the next 6 anyhow.  A couple feel good wins does not outweigh better draft seating.

They accumulated some good draft picks for next year + alot in the cap to shop......so it remains to be seen if this regime can take full advantage of the next off season or are we destined to become the next brownies.....im still very very weary if they can turn this offence around though.....Im still not convinced that they can....

cant believe 25% want us to lose out. whats the point of watching and being a fan if you want them to lose

I have been watching this team lose since Kelly retired.  Watching the team lose sucks, but in the long run they can get better players.  As awesome as it was to make the playoffs last year, had they have lost more often they would have saved a ton of draft capital and had more players.

Yes, but I would rather see them choose in the top 5 of every round without having to trade anything... than drafting in the 10+ range or trading picks away again.

Add to that a win against NE and sweep of the Jests and Miami sending Miami home for the season? simple IMHO 9-7 baby!!

It was this exact stat that I wanted to see.

Hence - the silly post.

Just wish we could see who voted for what.

For the greater good

ya cause tanking has proven to always work. the last 3 times the bills picked in the top 5 we took m williams, watkins and dareus, those worked out great. theres plenty of good players throughout the draft

That's nice... the past should have nothing to do with the future.
