As much as I don't want summer to already be over with, because I live in northeast Iowa and the winters suck here, I just can't wait for the upcoming football season. But that certanly gives me hope that he can be special. I didnt like the pick, but I never saw him play, just what the "experts" showed in some clips, but as I keep watching closely I get why he was the pick. There are legit concerns about Allen and we just don't know yet if he'll overcome them. somnus00 Posted May 9, 2018 Share Posted May 9, 2018 I've been skeptical of Allen all along. He wouldn't have been my choice at 7. But it's always been easy to see why so many were enamored with him. He's a physical specimen, played great at the Senior Bowl, smart kid, etc. Now that he's a Buffalo Bill, I'll be cheering for him on Sundays. I can't wait to find out that I would make a horrible GM. I feel like some people secretly hope he stinks just so they can point out that they were right about Allen. I, on the other hand, want to be wrong. Honestly, after hearing his story...he's gonna make sure you eat that crow, that boy is determined as anyone I've seen since Aaron Rodgers when he slid to 24.
