I just dont get these elite athletes and PEDs, they already made it to the NFL... Just ball out now.

Me on the other hand, I could use some PEDs with spring around the corner and a boatload of outside crap to do.

Yep.

I would be curious to know the percentage of players who are actually on PEDs. I would imagine it’s very high

Only 1 test per year. Steroid cycle lasts 2-3 months so it's easy to juice up during the offseason and pack on a ton of muscle and then have it out of your system by the time they test you

So it is essentially an intelligence test and Burfict failed... Idiot.

The percentage was high on my high school football team.  I can’t even imagine at this level what it’s like.

always assumed everyone but the punter is using something to sustain that level of training and quick recovery from nagging issues, at the very least

maybe the punters are doing it as well

Yeah. The fact that the bigtime pro sports don’t follow WADA or USADA testing protocols is a testament to the fact that they really don’t give a ****.  International athletes find ways to beat both of those as well. But it is waaay more difficult.

Win a medal at an international race. Get tested. Show up to international competition, you’re out into the random testing pool. Training at your home training center, an official can show up any day and request a urine test.

Hell, the best way for the Russians was to fake the test. You have to keep your schedule updated with USADA and WADA because anybody in the testing pool can be tested at anytime. So if you go on vacation you have to give them notice when and where you’re going. Because if they show up to where you have listed as your gym/training center, and you aren’t there, you get written up. A few of these in a given time and you’re suspended from competition.

For a giant business like the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc. this should be easy to implement, and account for basically a rounding error on their ledger at the end of the year.

Source: Was registered in the USADA and WADA testing pool for a number of years.
