I do wonder if the Ravens are gonna rest their starters. The last time they were the 1 seed they did and came out flat against the Titans.

Could also get lucky with the Titans beating the Jags next week

Harbaugh won't make that mistake.  Like maybe take the 4th quarter off but you don't want your team resting for two whole weeks.

Definitely wouldn't rule out the Titans getting a meaningless win to ***** with a division opponent.

Agreed.

Titans would be motivated to eliminate the Jags

Also not relevant but interesting. The 1999 Jags went 14-2 in the regular season and loss to the Titans in playoffs. The Jags were undefeated, only to lose to Tennessee 3 times (regular season and the playoff loss)

Why risk hurting them in a meaningless game?  They have the 1 seed locked up.  Win or lose changes nothing for them.

In 2020 the Ravens rested their starters in the final week of regular season, came out flat and promptly lost to the Titans two weeks after. They won't want to repeat that trick. I think the starters will take some snaps, albeit perhaps only for a half.

Far more likely, unfortunately, that the Browns will field back ups against the Bengals.

Debatable.

But does the point stand? Do they want to see us? Or Mason Rudolph?

Being divisional rivals, they may fear the Steelers slightly more than they otherwise would. At the moment, they'd see the Bills as beatable.

It's funny how we've been claiming the NFL has been becoming an offense league when, actually, so many teams have been relying on their defense to get themselves into this position.

Not a good onside. If you kick that through the endzone, with 2:01 and 2 timeouts, a stop gets you the ball back with enough time to go down and score. Now you lose 40 extra seconds even if you get the stops and get pinned deeper. Unless the clock starts on the kick, I don't remember.

They 100% will.  It's the most intriguing game and it's also guaranteed that neither team's strategy will be changed by prior results.

Either that or Houston vs. Indy. That is an actual playoff game. Win and you are in.

Bills could clinch a playoff spot before Sunday night. That said: it still would be for the 2 seed. Bills are a popular team so they'll be on

The question is how do the bills beat a good team, the offense really has become awful.

Playing the Miami defense will be a good start toward kick starting our offense.

Although, they have improved as the season has gone forward.

It'd make sense to have Bills-Dolphins on Saturday night, so it'd have an all-or-nothing vibe. By Sunday night, the Bills could be in whatever happens.

Being five hours ahead, Happy New Year from the UK!

No, you are correct. That was a mind boggling decision by Carroll
