No, he isn't.  Brady was making the long throws.

Mac, not so much.

I know it's really hard for bills fans to try to put things in perspective. Dude is week 4, he is not going to be ask to lose the game..generally how a team should handle a rookie..

ha ha this is too funny. Mac Jones needs to be Patrick Mahommes for you guys..

I mean there's Herbert, Murray, Burrow if you need examples of rookie QBs playing well.

New England (Jones) not scoring a TD on the drive where Myers threw the pass I knew that was the game.  4:35 left in the game.  You need a TD there.  You got inside the 10.

That negated any good that may have been done dinking and dunking along against a completely obliterated secondary.

As a Bills fan for 20+ years I am a leading expert on mediocre QBs that give you false hope. Welcome to purgatory.

Um, YOU were the one who said he outplayed Tom Brady.

I was just correcting you.

When you dink and dunk all night a doink to lose it is appropriate.

NE defense is still good. Judon is a beast. Barnmore is looking good. Secondary is good. It's not a roll over, and I think in NE the game will be hard fought. I'd love nothing more that 40-zippers until February, but I don't think NE is total sh*t  I think they are a .500+ team with some fight and the second best team in the AFC East.

Sounds about right.

It’s hard for all fans to put things in perspective… the word fanatic is defined as “a person with excessive and single-minded zeal”… don’t act like this message board is unique.

I went to college in Massachusetts and my Patriots fan friends are just as insufferable as some of the posters on this board. My Dolphins fan friends are the same way… they’re still convinced Josh is bad and he “just gets lucky against them.” The list goes on and on.

Mac Jones 101.6 rtg 2 tds 77.5%

Brady 70.8 rtg zero tds, putrid 51%

but please educate me

Mac Jones threw 5 yard passes all night to open receivers against a team that had a MASH unit for a defensive backfield.

Consider yourself educated.

I said.he played just as well as Brady go back and re read my post. Thank you!

And he didn't do that either.

Why do you guys come here trying to convince us you're still good?

You're 1-3, and tied for last place.  We're coasting.    See ya next year.

Since you failed at putting words in my mouth. I would stop with the rest of your post cause I been here since last season talking football if you can't handle it, keep it moving..

Well, enjoy the cellar.

Oh, and BB has lost it too.  That final decision was terrible.

That was a nice super bowl preview. Jones is the next Brady. Not saying he has the talent to fill those shoes just saying he’s the next selected. And these two teams are the overwhelming favorite narrative for the NFL to bring into the playoffs and then super bowl. This was step one to make it an enticing matchup for Round 2.

LOL!!!  Not a snowball’s chance in hell the Pats are making the Super Bowl.

If there's a QB I'm worried about(think might be good) in the division it's Zach Wilson but luckily he plays for the Jets.(poor bastard never stood a chance)

Agree 100% but he looks a guy that should be on a Nickelodeon show

Loved this outcome. Brady is lackluster and outplayed by Jones on a record breaking night….and Pats lose in a painful past Billsy manner, playing a top tier opponent right to the bitter end and then ripping the heart out of every fan in NE

Actually, the Bills would have been the recipients of a penalty on the FG, driven down to the 10 yard line and then missed a chip shot FG - nobody lost as creatively or painfully as Buffalo...
