First Round Bust
yeah, we are running on fumes waiting for training camp, pre-season games, camp news, cuts, etc...some cities celebrate championships (even multiple even different teams in same city) while we...don't.... NoHuddleKelly12
OP, you encapsulate everything that is good about Bills fans. Loyalty, camaraderie, sense of history/where we’ve come from, and unbridled optimism normally springing from no good faith basis!! But in this case, ever since JA burst on the scene, we can’t be optimistic enough! 2

SoCal Deek
I was texting my son in law in real time at the end of the Bengals game. It was hilarious! The text right before the touchdown was “Dalton is a bum!” and then seconds later “Dalton is my hero!” 😂😂😂

H2o
Yeah, I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a little misty as well. That was such a special moment seeing our guys in the locker room, especially Kyle. Seeing all of the fan reactions around the country. Remembering watching the Ravens game at the house with my kids and screaming at the top of my lungs while jumping up and down when Dalton hit Boyd for that TD. It truly was like a dark cloud lifted off of the Buffalo Bills and all of their fans that evening. It's something I'll always remember. 1

I get that some folks (ranch people) have an issue with the initial sting, but once you get past that the flavor is otherworldly. I like to make sure I don’t have much going on afterwards though. They can come back to haunt you, but I feel like that’s the case with lots of bar food. Edited July 13, 2021 by Bobby Hooks

NoHuddleKelly12
In for the cry-fest (again). When you stop and think about all the milestones that have personally come and gone in the course of 17 years…yeah, when that all sinks in it brings it all back. I’m 42, and that night I felt like my late 80’s early 90’s kid self again with the Bills going back to the playoffs year over year…priceless. Thanks OP. GunnerBill
I did not cry at the time I felt an extreme joy when Boyd scored and then a kind of exhausted emotional numbness when the Ravens failed on 4th down to end the game. I do well up slightly watching back now but at the time I just felt kind of washed out at the end.

Another Fan
Team should still be greatful to the Bengals. If Buffalo don’t make the playoffs in 2017, I think 2018 and beyond would have played out very differently. For one thing that playoff game in 17 I think showed Tyrod definitely wasn’t a long term solution for growth. Nothing personal, just saying. Not so sure they’d of drafted a QB that year otherwise. To sum it up it was a lot easier for McDerrmott to sell The Process after breaking the drought his first year coaching versus if he hadn’t.
