Someone sit him down, go over the actual data and science and not the crap idiots post on social media, and I think he’d get vaccinated.  Best team we’ve had in years, a real Lombardi contender, and the team is going to get ruined by political horse crap.

He's already made it clear he isnt willing to listen to science, or anything else. His mind is made up, he wants to do what he wants with no consequences, LET HIM LIVE HIS LIIIIIIIFE!

McDermott, Beane, the NFL and the NFLPA have all said they have done that with all players.

I won't condemn anyone for choosing to not get vaccinated. However the paranoia of some people does make me laugh, especially an athelete who has probably spent years allowing medical staff to dope him up with all kinds of pain-killing injections and pills without giving the slightest thought about what's in them and what their potential negative long-term effects might be.

Even regular people in society spend their days taking medicines and eating all kinds of ***** with about 1000 ingredients listed on the box, many of which are probably on some action group's must-be-banned list, and we just keep throwing it all into our bodies because we assume the people producing it actually care if it screws us up or not.

Then some scientists develop a vaccine for a virus and we create a 24 page thread at a Mario Williams Signing Day rate of speed. Fascinating stuff!

The reality is that it has nothing to do with the science. It's about control. There's a subset of the population who believe that rules are for other people.

For the record, I agree with him, but do wish Cole would chill out with the social media.  Especially when social media, Twitter specifically, is a small (but loud) subset of America that happens to vehemently disagree with him on this issue.

We know a lot of players aren’t getting vaccinated.   But they’re not going to war over it on Twitter.   If others were, I’d have no issue with Cole doing so...and maybe he’ll start a movement, but as of now, it seems like a distraction to the level in which he’s doing so.

You can make a point without shoving all your chips in.

What’s crazy is that they are allowing stadiums and fans get back to 100% normal…… well teams should get back to 100% normal.

You're aware that fans attending have to be vaccinated, right?

I’m glad I didn’t buy his jersey

This kind of thing is why I don’t buy anyone’s jersey. I stick to generic Bills gear. I never know how some strange guy I’ve never met might let me down. I’m pretty darn familiar with how our Bills can let me down! In fact, I consider myself an expert on that subject!

I stopped learning anything about anyone in entertainment that I like... I don't even know Josh Allen's last name.

Well on a positive note those two are far less likely to threaten to retire over this.

Gabriel Davis clearly agrees with Cole.

McKenzie is just coming across as defending his guy.

I dont look at that as the uprising that some do.....I think that is simply one team mate supporting another......and even if I disagree with Coles take I have no problem with him receiving support from his bills fellow team mates

I'm a little confused by the line "I may die of covid, but I'd rather die actually living."  Is he saying that if you get the vaccine, you're not actually living?  Like, might it not be easier to get back to normal life with the vaccine?  Seemed like a good enough reason for me...

I thought the same thing! But, I know a lot of people with this same viewpoint so who knows

He’s saying he wants to not be vaccinated and live life normally.  I, for the life of me, do not understand why we can’t just do that... but alas, here we are.

The Bills don't play home game in Florida or Georgia.

Im pretty sure they aren’t requiring vaccination.  Simply if you aren’t, you have to mask.

Regardless - I’ll enjoy the games in Florida and Nashville.... fwiw, they are all pretty close to being home games.

People seem to be acting purposefully dense to what he said.   It’s really not hard to figure out.

The Bills, so far, are the only team that it is known that vaccinations will be required (by Erie County) for attendance. So, yes, they are requiring vaccinations.

Got to respect a man who speaks his mind and stands by his principals. Good for Cole.

It's a team sport and the team agreed to shut up.  If his principle on this topic is more important than belonging to the team and being a good teammate then ...

People decided not to give him credit that he knows what he's saying and given some of the things he's been putting out I can't really blame them.

That’s from April... I’m pretty sure that’s been changed since then.

The only reason we're able to go back to living normally is because the majority of people in the US are now vaccinated. So basically Cole wants to reap the benefits of having unmasked practices and fans in the stands and a higher salary cap without actually taking the vaccine himself because of some unfounded fear.

"We respect each player's decision on the vaccination is their own, and while we continue to educate our players and hope they decide to get the vaccine, we know we have a number of players who will not, and are totally fine with that as they are still on the team. However, we also made a decision as a team to not speak out about it or let it become a distraction, and Cole was unable to follow that. Nor would he agree to follow the protocols agreed to by the NFL and NFLPA. We provided him plenty of ways and opportunities to contact his union reps and work with the NFLPA, but he was unwilling to do so. So we made the decision to move on since we are trying to stay unified as a team, and move forward into a re-opened 2021."

-Brandon Beane

Boom, cut.

But if he's willing to retire over it all, than problem solved.

He might be broken anyway. Probably a good time to cut bait if he continues to be an ignoramus. He can then move to Florida and be free.

This is just the beginning.  Cole shouldn't have opened his mouth.  The team agreed to stay closed about the topic.  Guess who's gonna be all over GMF all week . . .

I thought the dude was all about team

Hasn't spoken about it since March. Will be really interesting to see what develops on that front.

Not saying they are the same person but they are close friends and spend a lot of time together in Cali in the off-season-  and Sam Darnold was asked about it this week and “refused to comment”…. Wouldn’t be surprised if Allen hasn’t but also could see him getting it just because of “work” reasons

County hasn’t changed their position yet though. We’ll see how it shakes out the state gov may attempt to overrule Erie Co but that’ll be hard to do since other venues have already instituted vax requirements and Cuomo let them go.

I’ve been reading and keeping my comments to myself. But if I was to say something this was going to be my comment.

Quite frankly, the people who refuse to get vaccinated are simply grifters. They grift on the doctors and nurses and scientists and immunologists and mathematicians and all the vaccinated people in the general public who got out of the wagon and are pulling us out of this mess. They don’t care if they get sick and get hospitalized because somebody else will be there to take care of them, the caregivers who are required to be vaccinated, so they can perform the simple act of breathing.

Somewhere Jenny McCarthy is smiling.
