I don’t think the wild card race is of any worry anymore. Miami just benched their starter and New England also looks in the midst of a benching. It would take a major Bills implosion to lose the division. If that happens, they won’t be in wild card contention anyways.

Generally I agree but in the case that we do surrender the division, the fewer AFC vs NFC the wins the better especially with that 7th playoff spot. It doesn't help them in a tiebreaker against us like it might normally either. We have head to head.

Turk71
I remember a lot of people on here telling anyone who would listen that Herbert would be a huge bust. I knew he would be good. Wife and I met at the U of O where she ran track. I knew about Herbert when he was in high school in Eugene and saw him many times at Autzen Stadium. He has a calm confident demeanor, a big arm and a nice touch on the long ball, good pocket awareness and incredible athleticism for a 6'6" 240 lb guy. Definitely not a bust.

Freddie's Dead
Wow, Gonzalez nails the 48 yarder and bails out Kingsbury for the bonehead decision to kick the FG on 2nd and 15 with over 2 minutes remaining. They are 5-2, took a risk on Murray when he had Rosin only drafted a year earlier and just beat the undefeated Seahawks in an OT battle. I’m not saying I disagree with you, but I don’t understand the perspective. So far the Cardinals look very good and are in the toughest division in the NFL. Look what SF as beaten up as they are with top talent did to the Pats, the Seahawks didn’t lose a game until last night, and the Rams are solid. I can see them beating the Bears. The decision to kick a FG on 2nd and 15 with over 2 minutes left was stupid. Do a Marv, and kick on 3rd down, but on 2nd with that much time left? He got lucky when Simmons bailed him out with that INT.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce
Jacksonville Jaguars' Doug Marrone excited to take 'outside the box' approach to rest of season Marrone knows that may not make a lot of sense to anyone outside the organization considering the Jaguars are 1-6, have one of the league's worst defenses, and have won just three of their past 15 games dating back to last November, but that's going to be his approach -- and he said he's willing to get a little unorthodox, too. Too bad if you don't like it. And in reality it may be the only chance he has of saving his job. "I'm not going to bulls--- anyone, I'm kind of fired up," Marrone said Tuesday. "And I know you guys are probably sitting like, 'What the hell's going on? How can this guy be fired up? They just lost six games in a row,' https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30203262/jacksonville-jaguars-doug-marrone-excited-take-box-approach-rest-season

'Fired up' consists of saying "obviously!" Instead of "obviously" at post game press conferences. Might even consist of switching to regular instead of decaf.
