Setting the stage to postpone some more so that the Titans can have full manpower back before they play a game?  Wouldn’t doubt it. What excuse will be next for why the game can’t be played?

And the Chiefs on a late Monday afternoon? I definitely won't be able to see the beginning of that. Does the NFL care?

I heard you have an important doctors appointment you have to take your "insert person of interest" to on Monday afternoon. Need to leave work early. ;)

😆 Go Bills!!!

Feel free to contribute a recipe, a fashion tip, anything! We are trying to set a record here. Btw the titans are ground up and in the freezer.

I am cautiously optimistic about them burning in a seventh or so level of football hell for what they’ve done to us and the league, but mostly us.

Look, I'm not saying it's been easy, but all this kerfluffle could have a positive side for the Bills as well, don't over look that.

There's a chance the Bills may get a "questionable" player or two back who wouldn't otherwise play or who would play more hindered

We have a few extra days for everyone to heal up, and we get an extra day for the KC game

Perhaps most important, while people point at the Titans as a revved up motivated team with something to prove, having to go through the wringer on scheduling and actually prepare and study two game plans is more or less unheard of, and surly a point of adversity that our coaches will turn into an extra layer of motivation for us.

And we really don't know yet what happened in Tenn. that was improper or against the protocols and how it contributed to the outbreak.

I could care less about the Titans conditioning. They clearly broke protocols which led to the massive outbreak in their organization. That’s their fault, not the Bills.

I care because it is a player safety issue

respectfully, Hap, it has nothing to do with the dates of these games for me right now.  The s*** show of how the titans organization has been going about this and the NFL’s efforts to accommodate them (and it is to accommodate the sinner) is.

as far as dates do go I am one of the people who was pressing hard that the chiefs and bills game should be played on Monday.

How so?

Players are prone to injury when they haven't practiced in two weeks and then jump into a real game.  Also the risk of there still being a virus that can be passed to another team.

If the players haven't been able to practice, condition properly, or get proper treatment for their injuries, they can be re-injured or injured.  Sorry I thought that was obvious.

I seriously doubt they are out of shape and not getting treatment for injury

Are fans allowed at the stadium? If so wonder how many will be Bills?

I think I heard 8000 fans.  With the delay I doubt many will be Bills fans unless they live local.

Every explayer I have seen talk about this says, the chance of getting hurt goes up when they don’t practice.

This is just too comical its sad.  Patriots 1 new positive test 3 positives? overall... postpone game and reschedule 8 games.  Titans 22 positive tests overall including one new test... Game On!

I think b.c Patriots is fresh and Titans is at the end of it's outbreak. They have specialists that are working with them in this.

I'm not buying what you're selling about the Titans, they've been holding workouts

Still not the same as getting in pads and hitting each other in practice for the last two weeks.  They had illegal workouts a couple times in shorts.

I think its more about $$$$ and they cant figure out how to reasonably delay the game without using their back pocket 18th week.  It certainly has nothing to do with them thinking all is well.

Not just ex-players.  There's an interview on buffalobills.com where Micah Hyde is asked about the impact of being out of the facility and working remotely, and that's exactly what he says: that if you gave him a game plan, he could go and play a game but the risk of injury without practice would be much higher

This is exactly why IMHO the NFL ought to open up and be transparent.

It may all make sense given details of timing of the positive tests and the known exposures.

But without information about what's been going on, it appears to be extending very favorable treatment to some teams vs forcing others to prepare two game plans at once and letting them dangle in uncertainty

And the issue with players not getting paid if the games not played.

They had a bye week plus 2 days, after playing 3 games. You guys go ahead and worry about the Titans conditioning level.

Yes the time off may help them recover from some injuries, but not the same as true team practices.  A few sessions in shorts isn't the same particularly since players were without a pre-season and mini camp.

If I were the Bills I'd run the hurry-up as much as they can and test their conditioning.

They have had 1 practice for less than 2 hours in the last 14 days.

I agree.  They should be.

And now for something completely different...

The Sabres pulled a coup tonight signing Taylor Hall, the consensus top free agent in the NHL. They were the last team anyone expected to sign him. They were the last team Hall was expected to join because he said he was looking to play for a winner.

But apparently two things attracted him. 1) Playing with Jack Eichel, and 2) Playing for head coach Ralph Krueger again. He played for RK in Edmonton and he was his favorite coach.

It was an incredible move by new GM Kevyn Adams, who just this morning Mike Harrington in the Buffalo News declared was D.O.A. based on day one of free agency, were he basically signed a couple depth players, while letting 2 players Jason Botterill traded for just walk out the door for nothing. A real mic drop moment.

Let's hope Kevyn Adams pulled a Brandon Beane and got a Diggs for his Allen.
