Frez
Oh boy, we beat the Jets, Giants , Bengals, Titans. Not really that impressive so far considering what we have played for teams. They are ALL garbage and we lost at home to the Patriots. I'm not convinced just yet. Maybe it's just the AFC is that weak this year. 1 1

Maybe it's just the AFC is that weak this year. I mean, honestly outside of the Patriots who just dominate year after year, this is how most teams end up in the post-season. Look at the Carolina Panthers 15-1 super bowl year. Their schedule was soft as hell, especially intra-division. Can the Bills repeat success year after year? Don't know. But this year, they look to be among the best in the business.

Yeah the games were all close, but what matters is they are still winning. And as for losing to the Pats. Buffalo was still in that game to the very end while throwing 3 picks AND having a blocked punt returned for a TD. The 4th and final pick unfortunately sealed their fate. If the turnovers stop, Buffalo is going to be a problem for everyone to deal with. Lets Go Buffalo! 6 2

Maybe it's just the AFC is that weak this year. The Jets and Titans were both tabbed as playoff contenders before the season began. But because they haven't met expectations and the Bills have all of a sudden we have to disregard and belittle them? No, they have not stomped any of the team's they've beaten but they are 4-1 and by appearances are on the way to a 10+ season. They've shown marked improvement from last year and are trending up. No longer are they being taken lightly and have shed the label of FA wasteland. Enjoy what is happening with this team and their future. Yes the Bills have a long season to go, and injuries will no doubt have an influence on their final season record, but what they have accomplished so far is certainly worth noting and is deserving of respect. Similar to that of the NCAA. A bench of jerk offs sit around and dictate who belongs where based on their record and strength of opponent. That being said, seeing as how Buffalo makes their own schedule year in and year out, they are at the mercy of the committee.

Maybe it's just the AFC is that weak this year. I mean, you're not wrong. And just like NFL.com said, the last 2 times we started a season 4-1, we finished with a losing record. The teams we beat are just bad teams, and we struggled against all of them, but at least we're beating the teams we should beat. But even as unimpressive as we've been on offense, we still have 2 games against Miami, and 1 against the Jets, Redskins, Browns, and Broncos. Even if Allen and the offense continue to play poorly, they'd have to play miserably to finish with a losing record this year.

And still think the Texans and Chiefs are better because they have elite QBs. It would be very interesting to see how our defense matches up with them. But yeah, the AFC is pretty open. 13 hours ago, ScottLaw said: Are you really wondering why the Patriots get the benefit of the doubt? It’s kinda crazy.
