Magox
Brown - Consistently was beating his man and caught everything thrown his way The entire defense- many of them played well they smothered the Jets and they rarely could find any rhythm. Stopped them in critical situations McD - Leader of men. The team never gave up despite have all the fluky stuff go against them. Singletary - Without his spark and playmaking ability we dont win. I said it after we drafted him despite all the teeth gnashing that he was going to end up being the main RB on the team. Allen - Played better than his stats showed, aside 3-4 passes he showed remarkable poise, stood tall under pressure, made some very nice passes and led us to victory with clutch throws. atlbillsfan1975
Big win! Learned how to win today. Everyone got a more comfortable with each other. It was clear early Daboll or McDermott preferred Gore to Singletary for running. Or at least they didn’t trust Singletary to run. The entire field opened up once Singletary got involved running. This line is built to run blocking. Singletary is going to be a stud. This D is going to be stout all year.

Still happy but give the credit to the oline. Josh Allen is a man and acts like it on he field. Darnold looked like garbage all day but all bills fans in the game thread and announcers kept sucking up to darnold. Football really is a team game and people don’t understand when something goes wrong it just isn’t one person. Josh had some unlucky plays but overall I was very happy with his play today and really appreciated how he staid poised all game. Josh Allen- 24 for 37, 64.9%, 254 yards, 6.9 yds per attempt, INTs give him a poor 71.2 QB Rating Sam Darnold, 28 for 41, 68.3%, 175 yds, 4.3 yds per attempt, no turnovers, gave him a QB rating of 84.9 Who cares!!! Allen led his team to victory. QB rating doesn’t mean much here. 3

Passing every down if the first quarter and most of the first was stupid. Thankfully he wisened up in the second half or McD gave him a pep talk with vigorous clapping !! ? I commented in the Shoutbox partway through the first half that I thought the playcalling was very strange. Some.....doubtless astute and knowledgeable "fan"...."politely corrected me". He seemed to think the Jets questionable CB and stout DL called for a steady aerial diet. But it was indeed very strange set of playcalling overall for a stout DL and questionable LB and a young QB. I think it gave Allen a bad case of "heroics" feeling it was all on him. All's Well that Ends Well! as the Bard would say

Kelly the Dog
Yup. Mosley did NOTHING on his TD. I definitely thought they should have ran the ball more than they did earlier in the game. I mean they started out firing and continued to fire, seemed like they took forever to start to run the ball. That's really mostly the main thing they should do a little different. If they can continue to run the ball they way they did the 2nd half that will open up all kinds of good stuff for Allen and the WR's

brianb386
The defense was MVP, otherwise we don't survive the 4 turnovers. However, I think bad luck was mostly to blame for the turnovers and Allen overall played well. What are we gonna do with you? Yes, Allen made some bad decisions. It's part of being a young QB and being under a lot of pressure, physical pressure from a stout DL and mental pressure from a strangely devised game plan that started out excessively pass heavy. But here's the thing: if we had a QB who took off running too much, folks would justly criticize that (and did last year). If we had a QB who was scared to pull the trigger and make a throw unless his receiver is college-open, folks would justly criticize that (and did so, heavily, when TT was our QB). Instead we have a young QB who is seeing plays and making throws he left on the field last year, and also making poor decisions at times. It goes with the territory of having a young guy. What is this? I think you're going to see nothing but half empty glass until the QB version of Mary Poppins floats down with zir umbrella and measures zimself as "Practically Perfect in Every Way". 7

That 4th down conversion was unbelievable. He's good but when a 340# DT has him held up WHOEVER shows up next has to be able to tackle him. Defense was very good today but tackling could have been better for sure. Saquon Barkley isn't going to be any easier to bring down.

I saw Allen standing in the pocket where he would have taken off last year. I saw him making (and completing) throws he would not have made last year, and if he did, they would not have been caught - I am so far most impressed with our WR acquisitions. He successfully completed 2 TD drives in the 4th quarter to overcome 4 TO and win on the road. You can't coach that kind of steadiness and fortitude and we haven't had it here since Kelly (except for occasional flashes of Good Fitz). That Beasley INT was pretty durn fluky, and the other ball was tipped - some of that's gonna happen. The other team's defense gets paid, too. 2 2

I think they were in position to stop him all game but couldn't. But I also didn't think that Darnold was going to beat us passing. So it was dumb for the Jets to not feature Bell more. He was the only one doing anything. A couple times it was third or fourth and short and they didnt even have him in the backfield as an option, which was ridiculous. We had everyone figured out but him.
