For what it is worth - his bio from Eastern Kentucky:

Looks like he was credited with turning their Offensive Line around and they were recognized for limiting the number of sacks they were giving up - so liking that bit of the resume.

I'd say I don't have a reason to dis-like it. At some point, the players just need to be able to make plays and get us some W's. Hopefully he's a part of that process in a positive way for the line.

For what it's worth, here's the bio given for Andrew Dees, the coach he replaces, at the time of that hire:

  https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/20/14343200/buffalo-bills-hire-andrew-dees-as-assistant-offensive-line-coach

Nothing jumps out at me that Dees was somehow that much more eminently qualified, so there's that.

Same thoughts I have about any position coaches that the Bills or any team hires:

Don't know and don't care. Bring in whoever you want. There aren't fans who follow the sport well enough to know if these are good or bad moves.

I start caring at coordinator level and above.

Love the name.  Sounds like a Chris Farley character.

Right? Like the guy who's out for dinner with his wife and gets fooled by the hidden camera coffee crystals switcheroo? :D

"Just let the man coach your offensive line! He won't get in the way.  He'll just stand in the back of the room while they're watching film."

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST HIRE THE MAN!"

A Johnson connection.

I'm guessing that's the main reason he was hired.  Johnson knows his work with offensive lines and likes what he did when both were with Detroit.  Johnson coached Detroit's tight ends at the time.

This is a new era.

Ranch >>> blue cheese

That era will NEVER exist!

However, a good ranch with a homemade chip CAN be a good addition. There is a time and place for everything.   ?

Now go wash your mouth and fingers with hot water and soap.

Doug Heffernan was a solid high school fullback. Didn't get many carries, but credited with several pancake blocks(although his teammates seemed to have forgotten). The grunts never get credit.

I hope Terry can DELIVER for the Bills.

This league needs new, young, forward-flavored minds.

Ranch is winning over taste buds like never before.

You have been relegated to the CFL. I’m sorry, but your choices have consequences.

Any relation to Doug Heffernan?

Heffernan is my last name, when the King of Queens was still running, on more than one occasion I had people ask me if we were related. Coincidentally Kevin James used to live around the corner from me.
