  1. So I texted him and didn't get a response for a while and thought, ya he's probably regretting putting his number out there. Until my phone rang.. Levi literally called me just to say hello, how's it going, etc. Really down to earth guy and am so glad he's on this team. Talked about how he's keeping busy, what he's excited about for this season, things like that. That was really awesome. Kind of speechless right now. Man I love this team. Go Bills.
  2. I thought I read on here that gamepass is free now but when I looked it was still trying to get me to pay. Does anyone have any guidance they can offer? Thank you in advance.
  3. I was really disappointed in Jerry's performance on Sunday. I am a huge Hughes fan but was expecting him to have a day against Newhouse (who is not good.). The pass rush in general really let me down. I was hoping Tom would get smacked around a bit.
  4. Guys, why do you see this as a bad thing? Would you rather have a coach that makes headlines for the stupid stuff they say? Like Rex guaranteeing a playoff birth? His goal is to avoid distractions, not give you an inside scoop. I'm sorry but I'll take that all day long.
  5. I distinctly remember Ty falling flat on his back immediately after the snap on one play. Josh stepped up nicely and dropped a dime to Cole that he dropped, but idk how you can give a 100% grade when he let a free rusher in. Does anyone else remember the play I'm referring to?
  6. Having a rookie qb with little to no talent around him kept Daboll "on a short leash", not McD. I get the feeling that Sean is comfortable delegating responsibility to hardworking growth mindset individuals like Daboll. He's also got great experience at successful organizations filling important roles. I'd say Brian is in complete control and if Josh can take the year twp leap I'm hoping for, I think this offense is going to put up alot more points than last year.
  7. And yet here you are...posting on it.... Interesting.
  8. I coach with one of Lazor's old college buddies; was even in his wedding. He seems like a pretty smart guy that I woudn't mind having at 1 BD. I wouldn't be surprised if they go after Palmer though.
  9. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-add-terry-heffernan-to-staff-as-assistant-offensive-line-coach Thoughts?
  10. Now don't take this as a knock, because Bruce was my favorite player growing up. One of my earliest memories of watching the bills with my dad was after a Bruce sack, I thought everyone was booing him. And my dad clearly demonstrated that they were in fact yelling BRUUUUUUUUUCCCEEE, and we stood up and joined the crowd from our living room. But I have seen a lot of old film on Lawrence Taylor (the OG LT) and heard interviews from his opponents, and I think he gives ....wait a second.....LT played LB... Disregard. Jesus, I need to go home. Is it 3 yet?!
  11. I really wish we still had Goodwin. His speed in addition to Foster's?! Headache for DB's
  12. The wr's are being chased by the db's. If it's man coverage, the db's eyes are on the wr and not the qb. So when he takes off there's green grass as the wr's run the db's out of the play. If the wr's went to that green grass, they'd bring the coverage, and it wouldn't be so wide open. Now each play call will have a slightly different route combination, which will often times (hopefully) try to exploit the center of the field as it opens up.
  13. You're the man, Shaw. You gave my girlfriend and I two tickets to the Miami game last year and we had a blast; awesome seats. I won't jump on these ones, to give someone else a chance to have the experience we did. Thanks again Shaw.
  14. It's stuff like Mills leaving Matthews alone that has me blaming Juan. This oline looks confused more often than not, and the number of free rushers is astounding. They don't know what they are supposed to do which, to me, indicates poor coaching.
  15. Ryan Groy is bad. I thought he was far better than he's playing because I remember him filling in admirably for Eric when he broke his leg. But after watching his performance Sunday and vs the Bengals it is obvious: he is bad. He's on his belly/back far more than one would hope/expect. Which means Bodine must be just as bad if not worse if you still start Groy after performances like this. While I'm on the subject of bad... K.B. Dear god bud. I don't feel as though I need to elaborate as most of us have watched him "play" recently.
  16. Last year the talk was of a tank. This year we're a no win, or bottom 3 team. It's easy to look from the outside in and guess a record. I think this team will surprise us again and as OP stated it comes down to the coaching. The heart that this team has. The comradry. Guys playing for each other and not for themselves. Now I'm not saying we will make the playoffs (I'm sure as hell hoping). But I don't think 8-9 wins is a long shot.
  17. I love Dion. Kid really seems to be taking on that leadership role.
