All Garrett has to do now is figure out how to call a time out, and remember which pocket the challenge flag is in.

"Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes that, if coach Jason Garrett had been a free agent in the 2019 hiring cycle, five teams would have made Garrett a job offer. With Jones still not extending Garrett’s contract, which expires after the 2019 season, it’s unclear whether the Cowboys would be one of those five teams."

Upgrade over Daboll

Scott Linehan?  Well, he surely stunk up the place as a HC in St Louis.

As an OC....sheesh, it would be one of those "who stinks worse, the AZ Cards OL or the Bills OL?" kind of comparisons.

Can we say they both aren't very good, and this year he's kind of been seen as doing "less with more" down in Dallas?

Kellen Moore was drafted 7 years ago this spring.  He went from player in 2017 to QB coach in 2018, and now will be OC in 2019.  Garrett had better watch out.  Jerry may decide to make him head coach at age 30.  LOL.

Jerry Jones has to be the dumbest person to ever own a Sports franchise.

Kellen Moore OC, Might as well name Aaron Maybin DC

After what I was reading in that Browns thread, they definitely have the worst owner. Jerry could be making a play for the top spot, but he's not there yet.

What do we know about Kellen Moore's coaching ability, anyway? He could turn out really good.

I'm sure part of this is the Cowboys wanting to find their own trendy, young offensive mind....

Heard hes been on TSW looking for a new Assistant GM.

Moore did run a pretty high powered offense in college.

Cowboys OC has to be the easiest job in the NFL.

1st down - run Zeke the freak left

2nd down - run Zeke the freak right

on the rare occasion it reaches 3rd down - run Zeke the freak up the middle or have Cooper run a jet sweep.

Anything else is a fireable offense.

This.

And wasn't their QB Prescott sacked 56 times this year....almost broke the NFL record - they fired their o-line coach mid-season.

Burn Cowboys dumpster.....buuuurn :)
