LeSean McCoy allegations

Mccoy doesn't need to be guilty (or even charged) to be suspended by the league. If they deem Shady is hurting their public image they can suspend him for any number of games under the personal conduct policy.

I think the only way he can avoid a suspension is if this story is resolved very quickly (payoff). Worst case if Shady ordered a posse member to rob and pistol whip this girl it's probably the end of his career.

Nonsense.  He wasn't on the scene to attack her and the only way they have anything on him is if they prove he orchestrated the attack.

One thing to keep in mind is that its possible she both got attacked and is lying for the benefit of her case at the same time.  In other words, she could easily have been legit robbed and roughed up and it had nothing to do with Shady.  But she could then just say it was Shady and make it seem more plausible by lying to say the robber asked for specific items.  This way she uses this terrible incident to her advantage in her battle with McCoy to hurt him and his case.

Seen that happen before in a similar situation.  Still just way too little info to really get down to who, what and where.  But certainly a lot more to be concerned about now than there was when the story first got out.

And like I said before, if they can proves this story and allegation as told, then Shady needs to go down hard.  But I still have skepticism that the allegations are accurate as presented so far.

Could be. Hard to trust anyone these days.  Plus lots of girls are awful as well these days.

Eh.. see Rice, Ray. NFL (Goodell) ain't even letting that ever be a possibility again

Wasn't found guilty. BWS

Ray Rice was found guilty, and sentenced by the State of New Jersey to talk therapy.

Then people went ape **** because the NFL was too lenient.

That was just all kinds of !@#$ed up.

Police statement released by Deadspin:

On July 10, 2018 at approximately 3:18 A.M., Milton Police responded to a home invasion at a residence on Hickory Pass near the Cherokee County line. The preliminary investigation indicates that this residence was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects, and not a random incident.

When officers arrived they found one victim who had been physically assaulted by a lone intruder. During the altercation, the suspect demanded specific items from the victim. An adult female victim was treated and released at North Fulton Regional Hospital. A second adult female victim also sustained a minor injury during the incident. https://deadspin.com/police-lesean-mccoys-ex-girlfriend-was-the-victim-of-a-1827490589

A second victim means there was a witness to at least part of the assault/robbery. Not looking good. Litigating with an ex, in part over jewelry, and then she suddenly gets robbed and beaten? Coincidence?

She got someone to do that to her face so she could ruin McCoy's career??  Or she did it to herself?

wtf?

Not to say that is what happened- but that wouldn’t be the craziest thing done by someone whose hunting for revenge and money.

Yeah...no.  If they can't find proof that this was a robbery attempt orchestrated by Shady, they can't suspend him for his ex-GF being robbed and claiming he did it.

Ezekiel Elliot was never criminally charged and was still suspended for 6 games.  Adrian Peterson was out an entire year because he took a switch to his kid (pretty minor criminal charges).

Yep. Don’t underestimate these professional “ side chick” types. One thing she doesn’t appear interested in doing is working. A few minutes of being roughed up might seem better than getting a job.

Ummm...what were the specific items? I don’t like the sound of that...

Not sure if this post was addressed but someone on that Lipstick website where this popped up this morning was saying that McCoy specifically wanted a watch that he had given her back.

Both were directly involved in some capacity.  This is different with McCoy not being on the scene.  Apples to oranges.

I don't understand how you can put all that together from a couple instagram photos.

I've been a critic of McCoy's off filed stuff---but this level of apologist vigor, I haven't yet seen.  4D stuff..

Dude- seriously...? How is anything he or i said apologist?

Have you you ever seen To Kill a Mockingbird?

If mccoy did this, let him rot. If he didn’t, don’t ruin his life because someone got on social media and made false accusations.

You're wrong.  Read the actual statues.

They have domestic violence exceptions in those 3 states because they have mandatory reporting.

It's really poorly written there.

I'm not wrong.  Depending on the state criminal activity must be reported.   Depends on the weapon in some states, in others it doesn't.

Either way, how did this become part of this thread!

You've concluded that it is as likely that she intentionally had someone do that damage to her---or she did it herself!, in order to win a future lawsuit--than it is that it happened as she claims

Agreed.

Totally OT, but a cautionary tale that is timely in this case:   https://buffalonews.com/2018/07/10/charges-dropped-in-wheatfield-child-snatching-because-of-mistaken-identity/

"There's always going to be people who say, 'You were charged,' and aren't going to read how the case got dismissed or thrown out. They'll think he got out on some technicality. I think you can't unring the bell. Once you've been charged and arrested, there's some stigma there," Viola said.

I guess by your definition Rae Carruth wasn't "directly involved" in the murder of his pregnant ex-girlfriend? He wasn't directly on the scene after all

Again. That was proven in a court of law.   As I 1st posted in response to you, it would have to be proven that McCoy orchestrated the attack on her. Absent that, there is nothing to suspend him for.  What are you missing?

How many suspensions are preceded by criminal convictions in  the NFL?

Thats actually exactly how that works.

We we have enough knowledge to know that we don’t have enough knowledge to know.

I think you're missing the fact that Ezekiell Elliott was suspended for 6 games even though he never even faced criminal charges, let alone a conviction.

If this story drags out and causes a black eye for the NFL then Shady will 100% be suspended. Regardless if he faces criminal charges or not.
