Maybe so- the big issue right now is they don’t have the perp. Without that tying it back to McCoy is impossible. If McCoy handed cash to an aquintance and said go make this happen... and that person then coordinated through others, and those others never are caught, you have a dead end. It could of been some random stranger that just targeted a nice house. Kim Kardashian was robbed once. I haven't ruled it out but it's kinda a stretch to think the girl staged it and took the beating on purpose to try to get back at him for eviction. It's possible.
