I am excited to watch the game Sunday.

 

After leaving New Era with my tail between my legs like an abused dog last Sunday I have renewed hope.

 

Rather than spinning the wheels with what we know lets give the kid a chance to face real live ammo in meaningful games.

 

If he lights it up use the draft stock to get better elsewhere.

 

If he sucks then go get a big name 1st rnder.

Four days later he helped the Cowboys win in a Thanksgiving Day gameagainst the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the score of 38–10. Romo went 22-29 with 306 yards and five touchdown passes and no interceptions.^[19] For his performance, he was awarded FOX's Galloping Gobbler award as the Thanksgiving Day MVP.

Romo aided the Cowboys in clinching a playoff spot, their second since Parcells became coach in 2003. He concluded the 2006 regular season with 220 completions on 337 pass attempts for 2,903 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions, with a passer rating of 95.1.

The Cowboys played the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card playoff round on January 6, 2007. With the Cowboys trailing 21–20 on fourth-and-one with 1:19 left in the game, the Cowboys attempted a 19-yard field goal. Romo, the holder for the kick, fumbled the snap. He recovered the ball and attempted to run it in, but was tackled short of the first down marker, and turned the ball over on the Seattle 2-yard line. The Cowboys went on to lose the game.^[20] Romo finished the 2006 season ranked seventh in the NFC in passing yards (2,903) and touchdown passes (19).

Romo played in the 2007 Pro Bowl after Drew Brees went down with an elbow injury as a substitution for Marc Bulger. He threw one touchdown and one interception, and was the NFC's kickoff holder in the game

Oh no I don't think that.

I am hoping that the offense will now be able to reliably score 14 points a game because of the passing offense.

Then if the running game contributes some and the kicking game contributes some and the defense contributes some we will be in very good shape.

 

If there are four guys in a boat rowing, running, kicking, passing, and defense, we have had one rower who was feeble. I am only hoping for four good rowers.

I don't think anyone will think that.  The excitement or rejuvenation is potentially having a decent passing offense.

I’m super pumped too.  Perfect weekend for the switch as I’ll be attending the game.  Pretty sure I’m gonna get schmammered at the tailgate due to excitement to see what this kid is made off.  I love his skill set

you base someones fandom on post count?  I know I've known of BLM for nearly a decade, as a bills fan. I also used to really appreciate his camp notes he used to share. but, he's got a low post count so no way has he been a bills fan for more than 21 posts.

While undoubtedly the Bills have been inept on both D and O the last couple of games, the Offense has been non existent, whether it be pass or run.

 

While the 'traditional' approach has been to run to set up the pass, you can do it either way, i.e. pass to set up the run or vice versa.

 

On Offense, we have achieved neither, and it has become glaringly obvious, that teams are simply stacking the box, and daring us to beat them with the pass. Tyrod has had two games in which to figure out how to achieve that, and simply hasn't managed it, at all. Tbh, it isn't any sort of stretch, to say that he hasn't really managed to do that, through most of his time here. 

 

We've all seen it, and it's not some sort of 'overnight epiphany'. Something had to change, and realistically, certainly on Offense, about the only thing that makes any real sense to change, is the QB. Admittedly we still have O-Line 'issues', but we aren't overly blessed with a full range of talent or health there atm.

 

I don't doubt either, that they are also trying to get the run D sorted. Re-signing a large lump of DT, being one part of that. I don't expect it will be enough on its own, but improvement in the basics, and actually getting some production from the Offense, might just make enough of a difference, to actually get us back playing in the same game, as the opposition.

yes, so you would be happier getting bounced early with a guy like Romo As your "franchise" QB? And in the end after he is done you have won nothing. Absolutely nothing but did get too see 8 meaningless  playoff games. Romo did have a couple very good regular seasons with a stacked team. But he  doesn't even own a NFC championship ring that he won. At least Kelly got 4 AFC rings.   I need too wait for 17-25 years for someone who can win and win a lot. . lol BBFS
