section122
I had a thought amidst the Tyrod benching. Is it possible that they have reached a decision on their target at the position this week? Does anyone have the list of what games scouts were at? Perhaps the Bills fell in love with a guy, will move heaven and earth to get him, and decided to give Peterman a test run in the mean time? Wishful thinking but humor me. Anyone know what games the Bills were at this weekend?
26CornerBlitz
Scouts from 20 teams are credentialed to attend the game. Here's the list of teams, per USC: » Bears » Bills » Browns » Cardinals » Chargers » Chiefs » Colts » Cowboys » Dolphins » Eagles » Falcons » Giants » Jaguars » Jets » Lions » Patriots » Ravens » Redskins » Saints » Steelers
njbuff
Jarrett Stidham is a name to keep a very close eye on. He has really good pro potential and I can see him skyrocketing up the charts like Wentz did. This is the kid that could be the Bills first round QB, if they go that direction and how they feel about Peterman going forward.

KDIGGZ
Darnold has players around him. Rosen has more talent but just a horrible team and nobody to throw to. I do like Darnold's grit but not his throwing motion. Should be a fun game to watch
26CornerBlitz
Who'd You Rather Have? The Trojans and Bruins face off tonight in a Los Angeles showdown that features two of the top college QBs: Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen. We reached out to five NFL executives to see who they think is the better prospect.

Billsfansinceday1
Mayfield just grabbed us crotch toward the Kansas fans...”borderline classless”. GMs and coaches will appreciate his competitive spirit but that kind of stuff won’t be appreciated.

No way he ends up a mid round pick. No way. As the season has gone on some of the warts in Rudolph's game have surfaced but it is not an unwillingness to throw contested balls - just watch the 2nd half of the Bedlam game back. He is still a back of the 1st top of the 2nd QB.

Buffalo Barbarian
Watching the game now, Mayfield was only out the first series. Got to say the more I watch him the more I like the way he throws the ball, can also play in the pocket and use the whole field. Some seemed turned off by his attitude but to me it's just his competitiveness and take no BS mindset. He doesn't have any off the field issues and all his "problems" have to with defending his team. Game getting feisty , the Oklahoma olineman getting ejected was ridiculous.

It would appear that he took his lessons to heart and showed both his athletic and leadership skills while on the field.
ALF
A blueprint for the QB-needy "You have to find a way to win games with a youngster, which may require using some of their college stuff early in their careers ... Some coaches will resist doing it, but if you're going to win with a young guy, you need to meet them halfway." The Rams are really the team that others should watch, based on Goff's transformation this season under first-year head coach Sean McVay. The second-year passer was widely viewed as a bust after a dismal seven-game showing as a rookie, but the team's new head coach has helped him play at an MVP level this year. McVay's clever scheming has put Goff in his comfort zone and increased his big-play production while reducing his miscues. He has blended some quicks and Air Raid staples into a game plan that also features a play-action passing game stocked with vertical routes. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000882364/article/a-blueprint-for-the-qbneedy-saints-making-most-of-drew-brees

(Minnesota) McVay might be the start of younger coaches coming in and finally changing the NFL. There's a huge disconnect right now between the offenses of college vs the offenses in the NFL. Tons of teams in the NCAA score a whole lot of points but rarely do you see the QBs of those teams being mentioned as high draft picks or the next big thing. Why not identify a guy that is successful and build an offense that fits what he does well? I'm starting to think it doesn't matter who you pick, all that matters is the coaching staff and their ability to maximize the effectiveness of the personnel they have. Pick one of these top guys and build an offense that fits what they do.

LABILLBACKER
Darnold will stay in school. I've seen every game Rosen has played and I question his durability and passion for the game. If we could land Mason Rudolph without trading up in the 1st, he'd be my top choice!
