It sounds like that rumor has legs, as several other reporters from both San Francisco and Green Bay have now reported the same -- 49ers vs. Packers at 4:15 p.m. ET in Week 1. 9ers Packers week 1 matchup refutes Lions claim of Monday night game in week 1 vs. GB. First thought I had For a team who has a chance of getting to the playoffs this will be a good thing. Maybe, but it will be messy in getting the stadium filled in Dec than if it were in Sept. Blackouts galore. But if we are in a playoff hunt, then maybe it will get packed. They should put more home games in the front though. And which one is the Toronto game? And it's been over 3 years now since we've had a home opener. Yeah, this schedule sucks. And no, I don't think even the Bills players want that many home games in December. And if you have season tickets and the Bills fall apart in the second half, as they have for the past decade, good luck selling your tickets.
