Really wanted Baltimore to lose to the 9ers, so they would be more dialed in and pissed off vs the Dolphins. Now I see them coasting against the dolphins a losing next week.

This is a myth.  They arent going to coast at home with the 1 seed still in play. Especially to the one team that can take it.

I don't. It's all about the #1 seed for them. They'll be up for next week against the Phins.

Has Jackson thrown further than 12-15 yards down field? Yet every time the ball is in the air the ravens have the entire niner defense 12+ yards down field.

or to a WR that didn't have at least 5 yards of separation.   I watch replays of some of the plays and he had like 3 guys wide open but instead of throwing the ball he started running around.  He isn't reading a field.

Would be too bad if Baltimore broke Lamar trying to get him MVP votes running him in the red zone.

Wow. That was such a half-hearted "rushing attempt" by Lamar.

He didn't want anything to do with that line of scrimmage.

Sorry Josh would have scored that td

Probably. He certainly wouldn't have ***** footed like Lamar did.

best player on best team gets MVP. this is a huge statement game, prime time, during final push for playoff slots. MVP voting is not that nuanced. Lamar is easy choice for clubhouse leader after tonight.

Allen is going to finish the season with 15+ more TDs and possibly the #2 seed. Would be pretty sad if that is the way the vote went, and would prove team record is the most important thing.

Lamar is playing really well.  One thing I notice is that he seems to be eluding just about every defender near him in the backfield and making a great throw to an open WR.  It makes me wonder how sustainable this is, because at some point he’s not going to be able to escape

No way is Lamar more overrated than Purdy. At least he makes plays that change the game. Even if he is inconsistent as a passer. Purdy just follows the script.

But when you're that good following the script, who cares? Let's also not pretend that all the INTs were his fault, especially when so many defend Josh when similar things happen to him (dropped/tipped passes, hit while being thrown).

Lamar can make plays, but it's a hell of a lot easier to score when you get so many extra opportunities & have a short field. His numbers aren't anything special this year either, especially not compared to his 2019 seaosn. He has HALF the passing the TDs, more turnovers, and less rushing TDs (even with 2019 being a 16 game season).

The Lamar Jackson for MVP talk is a joke

The Ravens had been led by their defense for the most part all year, and Jackson's numbers are pedestrian in comparison to Allen

Just make it the QB on the team with the best record award if you wanna give it to Lamar

Still are for the most part.

Yeah what people are going to look at first is Baltimore’s records which probably will be the best in the league.

From a statistical standpoint, he doesn’t really compare to the others.

He has played awesome and looked like an MVP tonight, and sometimes the last thing you see sticks with people so we’ll see if he can replicate this next week
