Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Better now than in the middle of the season. Getting hit with an inflamed appendix could cause it to burst, which can be life-threatening. 4 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 I like the plan. Have an unnecessary organ removed and miss any chance of injury in camp or preseason. Good move! 2 4 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I had my appendix out in 1982. Even then the whole issue was resolved pretty quickly. I was in the hospital 2 days and had to take it easy for a couple weeks. I imagine the hospital stay is even quicker now. It might even be outpatient surgery. I would guess he'll be starting to ease back into practice by mid August. Quote
