H2o
Diggs says he wasn't in FL at the time and that he let a friend use it. The only story here is that the friend has likely f***** himself out of any future usage of Diggs' fleet. 7
BuffaloBob
These guys find it difficult to let go of the hangers on. I don't doubt that Diggs had nothing directly to do with the car being left there. But I do doubt that the idiot who he let drive it abandoned it because of a flat tire.

But the car was found on Sunday morning and as recently as 3 days ago Diggs has Instagram posts showing him somewhere with palm trees. Maybe he went down after it happened, who knows? Solomon Grundy
Honestly, looking at the scenario, I don’t think I would’ve sat there waiting for a tow truck either. That has victim written all over it. 1

BillsDude
Nothing to see here. For high traffic area,, to save time--and money for gas--Diggs leaves his car hidden near train tracks, then hops on the caboose to his next destination. Sounds fine to me.

Or maybe it was never called, and the people involved called an UBER or a taxi or a friend and got TF out of there and figured "we'll deal with this in the morning"

I don’t know about that. Maybe they just went with “flat tire” instead of “hammered at the strip club”. Always possible that there is more to the story too. But that’s really not the general public’s business. Nor is it if a bunch of guys went to a club, drank and then were responsible getting home. Which brings us back to “flat tire”. Seems like a reasonable thing to say for privacy reasons. And now you made me google maps it. Unsurprisingly there are several gentlemen’s clubs near the airport where the train tracks pass under the highway. I’d bet that someone could reasonably park where his vehicle was found, especially if it was a busy night. Go figure. And again, nothing nefarious seems to have taken place so why would anyone worry about it? Edited April 23, 2021 by BarleyNY
jethro_tull
this reminds me of an incident that happened to the bear's lance briggs several years ago. he crashed his lamborghini into an expressway light pole late sat night and left it there, never reporting the accident. he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, much better than the alternative ! Nobody would judge them poorly if he simply said, we went out, we had too much to drink, so we got a ride home. In fact, they would likely be praised for being so responsible. He's got two brothers, and I think Trevon lives and trains with him in Miami off-season. If Diggs wasn't in town, at a guess, lent the car to his 'lil bro. Or to a friend, who knows? IIRC, plenty of strip clubs and casinos in that vicinity and the roads are kind of confusing in broad daylight

Sounds like a good friend, though. Leaving a 100k+ car sitting feet from train tracks and abandoning it. I'm sure it was totally innocent.
