  1. I’m wondering if one of those DTs or OTs is going to hug him to death some day. The way some of them were picking him up off the floor with his legs flailing around. The man is not a spring chicken at this point in his life. 😆
  2. My apologies! I think I was responding to the same post to which you were responding but somehow hit respond on you. I may have been a bit brain dead after reading all of the "we don't know how or don't even use our other tight ends" posts and just didn't think to first go up to the post from the previous poster. Thanks for being so considerate with your response to me! 😊 More than I deserved. 🤡
  3. I’d love to get Tippman, who could play guard until we need him at center. But I doubt he’ll be there at 59.
  4. Ertz works for me. In addition to amazing hands, DK has mad ball skills. He adjusts and contorts and locates the ball really well. He also has great run after catch. He seems to have great instincts to run to daylight and heads there really quickly. And he breaks tackles as well. I had given up on them getting a tall and athletic wide receiver/ and or TE. I had assumed they would go for an in-line type Schoonmaker. And I liked him in the 3rd or 4th. But I was surprised when they went for DK. And glad.
  5. We’ve got a bunch of them already! I like the ones we have.
  6. I think they can teach him to be an effective blocker. But if he becomes our Kelsey, I’m ok with those limitations.
  7. Oh, yes! I’m sure knowing how we see using our new rook is going to be a disaster. I guess we would have only run one play in that formation the whole season and then done something different for every other play after that, right? And now it’s totally blown. Don’t tell them about the All22 either. 😂
  8. Beating them in next year’s Super Bowl! But this will do for now! 😆
  9. He gets excellent separation at the top of his routes. He is nearly 6’4”. He catches everything. He ran a huge number of his snaps from the slot. Who is covering him? A nickel corner? Pitch and catch to move the sticks. Need I say more?
  10. A slot weapon was not a need pick? Are you serious?
  11. As BB mentioned, they won’t be using him in 12 personal sets. He said, think of it like 11 and 1/2.
  12. Get a grip. The guy is a big tall slot weapon with the best hands in the draft. He’s a slot guy with the opposite body type of Beasley. He will contribute immediately.
  13. I am not, nor have I ever been on twitter. Apparently though, these tweets still manage to make their way into the general news cycle. But thanks anyway.
  14. I think it was more injury than that his overall skill had diminished. He's a tough as nails dude who played pretty well despite nagging painful injuries. He wasn't as as good as the previous years because he was playing hurt. Then he didn't want to take a pay cut. I was annoyed that he couldn't just keep himself off of social media and play football, and that for some reason he couldn't tell the difference between Beeeeze! And Boooo! But I was not hostile towards him for it.
  15. I'm OK with seeing what he has left as long as I don't have to see another tweet from him where he complains that Bills fans hate him because he can't tell the difference between Beeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!! and Booooooooooooooo!.
  16. I'm sorry, but I think YORE both wrong. 😄 I think that it's the defender's own momentum that causes him to end up where he is. He was not redirected in any way. I also do not see any holding on Johnson's part or that he threw him down. Johnson hits him and immediately disengages with him and it is Johnson's abrupt disengagement to his right that causes the Patriot player to rotate in the direction of Johnson and fall forward to the ground when the resistance provided by Johnson is abruptly removed He is neither blocked into, nor pulled down into Martin. At the same time, I think it's a close call. You could argue that it was Johnson's sudden disengagement that led to the rusher's loss of control of his momentum. I agree with NewSaint. It could have gone either way and so not a bad call in the moment.
  17. I believe this game was Nov 17th, 1968. It was our 1-12-1 season of pure misery. The weather was miserable and the Chargers win 21-6. The get Hadl dirty chant came in the mid 4th quarter when everyone except him was covered in mud. It took about 3-4 plays for it to happen once the chant started. BTW, John threw 3 ints in that game, but between Dan Darragh and Ed Rutkowski, we managed only 151 yards of total offense. The Chargers scored all of their 21 points in the first half. The second half was awful. Biggest cheer of the game was when they got Hadl dirty. 🥹
  18. I was there for that game with my brother and father. We joined in that chant heartily and cheered when it finally happened. The Bills were so bad then that those sorts of moments are the ones I remember most from those days. RIP John Hadl. It looked better at the beginning of the game, when the green paint was still fresh. 🤣
  19. I really enjoy the Winery Tour near Niagara on the Lake in Canada. Great wine tasting and food. But be sure to book the guided tour with transport provided. Last time I went I was drunk off my butt by 1 pm. 😎
  20. It’s all good. We don’t really punt much anyway. 😁
  21. I feel ya! After all, he is a local boy who should dream about playing for his home town team who is a legit Super Bowl favorite, right? Sounds like Martin should be good though. And he’s a few years younger.
  22. Also, was she not too young at the time to legally consent, not even considering her ability to consent based on her level of intoxication. The age of consent in Cali is 18. She was 17 at the time. This alone is an admission of statutory rape. That’s reason enough for me to send him on his way.
  23. The kid has had a lawyer and the girl’s counsel has been trying to negotiate with him for some time. They knew what was coming.
  24. Is he on his way to prison? NO! He is still presumed innocent legally. But this team has no need for this kind of distraction. And I suspect he was not as forthcoming with the Bills as he should have been. That is a breach of trust that this team must move on from.
