Apparently Lock is going to die today judging by the comments over at https://www.orangemane.com/forum/orange-mane-discussion/orange-mane-central-discussion/2767597-fangio-renames-wilkinson-as-starter-at-rt

I guess Wilkinson is pretty bad according to their fans.

sounds like we should be bringing pressure from his side.

‘‘Twas a week before Christmas and all is calm. Until 4 hours time!

Bills by 10. You know when a normal size person stops a dwarf from attacking them by putting their hand on the dwarf’s head and holding them off? This game will be like this.

Enjoy the game y’all 👍

I think the media has a very skewed idea of what Josh Allen was doing last year.   The Bills were winning games with him.  He wasnt always doing it with his arm, but he was carrying the team and making 4th Quarter comebacks in his second year.   Josh was inaccurate at times his first two years (didnt help they led the league in drops) but he wasnt some horrible losing quarterback who didnt look like he belonged.

Patience is part of the key in developing young quarterbacks, but I have a feeling no matter how long the Bills "developed" J.P. Losman or E.J. Manual, they were really never going to be good at the position.  I dont think Allen's elite physical ability gets enough credit in his becoming a very good NFL QB.

There was a certain poster who used to be the biggest Bills Homer for well over a decade.   And then all of a sudden when we truly had a real coach and FO, he became a hater.   He also made these ridiculous comparisons to EJ Manuel’s stats to Josh Allen’s as proof that JA was no different than Manuel.   I won’t say his name but it rhymes with Discuit.

I don't think so?  Chiefs have the head-to-head tiebreaker on us.

It.  Will.  Be. Dark.  Here.  @Chandler#81

No.

Put a flashlight on your helmet.

I’ve seen theory’s where -if it’s a 3-way tie, we win Home Field. Not sure how that’s decided but I do know 3-way ties cancel out Head to Head.

25 years.

A Quarter Century mired in mediocrity. Also-rans. Revolving doors. Losers.

It. Ends. Today!

Watch this. Then ask yourself ‘Do I want to see this young man become a Champion TODAY?’

Love the enthusiasm!

You’re right, bro, it ends today.

Of all the weird start times (by normal Bills standards, anyway) that we've had so far, and will continue to have, this game today is pissing me off the most.

Just a "wrong" time to have an NFL football game and it's screwing up my entire day and weekend!

The problem is I can't record it and watch later...I'm too dedicated for that.  Have to watch live!

Bills will get the #1 seed if these are their records at end of the season ?

Chiefs 13-3

Steelers 13-3

Bills 13-3

Only if the Chiefs lose to the Saints and Chargers. If they lose to the Falcons (doubtful) and Chargers they still remain the number one seed.

So, route for the Saints tomorrow.

Yes, and the tiebreaker situation defaults to "strength of victory" (combined winning % of teams beaten), which i am not going to do the math but will assume with us playing the nfc west, this will help us (along with win against steelers, who would have 13 wins in this scenario).

Basically common games is out, bc us and steelers only have 3 in common (rule states min of 4)....then same conf record (if chiefs lose to chargers) and all 3 teams did not play each other.

It was 25 years ago, in the year of our lord 1995, that a plucky team of players representing the Western section of the state of New York made a heroic last stand in the pursuit of a trophy named for the fallen warrior, Lombardi. They'd come close, this ragtag bunch of overachievers. On 4 occasions they'd come to the arena where the holy trophy would be presented and each time they walked away defeated, while their opponents celebrated. This time they would secure the crown of the East, but not of the conference named after the nation that they'd bended a knee to honor and protect.

But the combatants were not the only ones affected by the outcomes. The ones known as the fanatics were crestfallen as well. While their blood was not shed in the literal sense, it flowed from them like water from the mythical river Styx. They were connected with their on field heroes cosmically, just as that famed river was said to connect the underworld with the world of the living.

Dead was what many of them felt after those defeats. Their ever-true hearts ripped in two. Even in the halcyon days of 1995, the fanatics knew that a storm was coming. They knew that their team would soon hibernate and dream of days of future and a return to glory. What they did not know is how long that induced slumber would last.

One score and 5 long years later the beast has reawoken. Led by a field lieutenant espousing a meticulous process and a chess master of a general pulling the unseen strings that have replenished the ranks of a newly-feared Army, they stand at the ready to right old wrongs and restore glory to a franchise long overdue for it's just reward.

The fanatics too have changed. Many much grayer at the temple than the first go 'round. Still others breathing Earthly air when they were but a twinkle in heaven's eye those many years ago. Still, we pause to raise a glass to those that have passed on to a higher plane. Parents and Grandparents, brothers and sisters and friends of the Red, White and Blue. Though your body has left us, we feel your spirit here today and it emboldens us as we prepare to watch our heroes take the first step in reclaiming a glory that should have never been so long in its return.

Clasp hands, brothers and sisters, and speak with me words that unite us across all racial, ethnic and socio-economic lines. Words that ring true from the banks of Lake Erie to the top of Mt. Everest. Words of eternal beauty that have ever been spoken on this great land of ours - Go Bills!

I wish I could give many emoji reactions as it deserves props. What a great post and well written.

Well done, bro. Well done!

Go, go Buffalo!!!

I can't see how the bills lose this game, unless they shoot themselves in the foot. The bills are the better team all around, and Denvers secondary is all back ups. However, I've been a bills fan a long time and know never to be comfortable

You’re right, bro, head to head is thrown out. Here’s the scenario that gets us the number one seed.

If Chiefs lose to the Saints and Chargers we’re #1. If they lose to the Falcons (doubtful) and Chargers the Chiefs remain the number one seed.

So, go Bills! Go Saints!

This may be a little bit too confident, but I think even if they shoot themselves in the foot, this is the type of game they can win. I can envision a scenario where even with them being flat, they’ll still pull out a victory.

I definitely don’t think they’ll be flat, I’m just making a point.

Chiefs have head to head over the Bills.

In a three-way tie, head to head goes away.

There’s one scenario where the bills would be the number one seed with all three being tied. The Chiefs would have to lose against the Saints and Chargers.

Order in the AFC East is about to be restored. The Bills and the Dolphins are going to be battling it out for the banner for years to come while the Jets and the Patriots will be on the other side of the chain link fence asking “Can we play, too?”

we won’t let them. Because they suck.

Man that would be a hell of a day for Diggs and Allen.

Bold prediction: Buffalo wide receiver Stefon Diggs will go wild on Saturday. With the Broncos' struggles at cornerback, that might not be too bold of a prediction, but this might be: He will set a new career high and eclipse the 201 receiving yards he needs to become the Bills' single-season receiving leader. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

OF COURSE the guy I'm playing in the semi-finals has Diggs on his team. I'm willing to sacrifice the $500 purse if need be. However, I have Beasley and wouldn't mind the epic game going to him.

Luckily JA17 is my QB either way.
