He dropped this on Instagram.  Shows him as the Bengals 3rd string and he isn't happy about it.

Yes but not much.   Late pick.   Which Brown probably wouldn't do.

His productivity is way down on a per snap basis........not just because he's not playing as many snaps per game.

He doesn't like 50% of the snaps in Cinci.........that won't change here.

The hope would be a change of scenery boosts him back up to last year's level but considering the depth of his statistical drop-off that's not worth a lot in trade.......and his remaining pay checks due would pretty much eat up what's left for cap space so subsequent moves would start to require altering other contracts.

Said it before.......I'd try to elevate the offense back up........trying to fix the defense is a multi-body project.    The offense just needs to replace John Brown's production, IMO.  If the objective is to get that elusive division championship that might be the best bang for the buck.   Should be options out there.

He's no better than what we already have. Why bother? We have too many so-so players already. We just gave Addison $30 mill to pick up our pass rush. We need to start thinking about adding elite talent if we're serious about winning -- especially at DE, CB, QB, OT and WR/TE. Josh will rebound (I hope). Williams looks good at RT and White has played well in the past and hopefully can pick it up again. We're set at WR. We need to add top end talent at the rest of those positions.

Ah...what team is going to trade an elite talent to us mid-season?  For what?  And why?  And will we be able to afford said elite talent under our salary cap?

If I'm dreaming Donald is just part of the rotation...

Always wanted Watt over Dareus, even though everyone called me crazy...need to right the wrong of that draft and bring Watt home so maybe his brother will also want to finish his career here.

The OL has been bad too

We have no cap room for him.... who leaves?? I know your answer will be Murphy but with our lack of pressure this year we may actually need Murphy in rotation. Plus we would likely have to part with multiple picks... Beane won’t do it.

no one can accuse me of starting a new thread inappropriately. He's an FA now and I think he would be a good and affordable pass rusher

33 years old this month and coming off a pretty bad season.  Ima pass on that unless it’s for depth and he’s really cheap.

He barely played for Cinci, which would speak to his bad season. Count me in at the right price, he flashed when given opportunity in Seattle.

There are going to be tons of cuts..

Sooooooo many good players. Buffalo will have lots of opportunities to go after guys they want.
Only Beane knows who they want.
Patience is key here folks. Going to probably have to suffer through the first premier phase of free agency with no signings, possibly a couple mid level guys in the second phase, then the draft, then bargain contracts for those players left. Going to be some really good players in the bargain phase who need work this year and will take what they can get
