In terms of legality, it is often the case that a cover up is a more serious crime than the initial crime being investigated. The Watergate scandal is a really famous example of that concept, but there are many more, especially when celebrities, or public figures are involved. I would guess that if you googled something like "cover up worse than crime" you would find many examples, and explanations.

I did that and found Br*dy and his smashing of his cell phone.

Kraft at the owners mtg in Florida this week. As an apology to the NFL and the other owners, he is taking everyone out for cocktugs afterwards.

I am sure Kim will enjoy that....

Patriots owner Robert Kraft waived his arraignment and requested a trial by jury on Tuesday in relation to his arrest for soliciting prostitution in Florida.

Kraft had previously pleaded not guilty and asked for a non-jury trial when his attorney Jack A. Goldberger appeared in court on his behalf in February. His arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday.

Jury trial is his best bet. The whole world knows that the DA was willing to drop charges if he just admitted guilt. Therefore, they don't feel as tho its a big deal and just wanted to save face. Now with that being public knowledge, he thinks he will be able to cause enough reasonable doubt and just walk Scott free. Money talks...and its always been the case. Pisses me off

...man that's a tough call.....hope for a sympathetic jury that sides with a 77 year old widower?......OR...a jury that wants to hang 'em because he's rich and famous?.......maybe a bench trial is the better route......crapshoot......

The fact that its known the DA was willing to drop charges just makes the jury think..."oh well, no big deal. The DA didn't even want to convict him, why should we?"

The jury will decide based on the evidence the DA gets in to trial,  not whether they like the rich famous guy.

Kraft calling out the DA on this one.

I'm guessing the manager who drained his prostate is prepared to say he didn't offer money for the pleasure---that the $100 was 'just the tip".

Yikes.  Maybe it would be better to acquit him but make her have to service him for the rest of his life.

You keep using the word manager as if her title somehow exonerates him.  Can you explain how that makes any sense at all to anyone other than die hard Patriots fans?

First off, you need to upgrade your mac n cheese. Get the box of 3 packets of liquid Velveeta, a 1lb box of cavatappi  pasta, 2 green peppers, 2 onions and 1.5 lbs of ground beef. Season with hot shot seasoning and when you serve, add Franks. Every once in a while, add taco seasoning when browning the beef. #lipitor

...back to topic, Kraft's lawyer is claiming that the video and the traffic stop were illegal. I cant imagine how he is going to spin that in his attempt to have that evidence withdrawn, but that's his plan. Additionally, depending on how they handle this, it could impact others that were arrested, they could follow suit with whatever tactics Kraft's lawyer comes up with (assuming they don't take the offer that the DA put out there. That combined with the $$ associated with a jury trial over 2 misdemeanors, it puts the DA on the spot to weigh several points.

Kraft will find out that it's more difficult to pay off a jury than to pay off a couple of Walt's.

That punishes her, not the Pats... want to make Graft (intentionally misspelled) squirm? Steal his picks and split them among his AFC East foes. Now THAT is justice!

I have no interest in those videos, just as I didn't in that "two girls one cup" video.  ?

Dince she manages a place that purportedly harbors sex slaves,  would it not be in her best interest to explain that she was not prostituting herself out at the business she manages?

I’m struggling  to explain this in a way that even you can grasp.

Yes, Velveeta brand is better for adding hamburger. Kraft is best on its own.

Looks to me like their first attack is to have his identification suppressed. One article I read talked about how the defense are planning on challenging a stop of his vehicle, which was apparently done solely to identify Kraft as the person who exited the rub'n'tug joint. May or may not be relevant, depending on how clear the video is in showing his face.

Either way, I fully expect Kraft's team to pay off the refs to ignore his deflated balls, and then have Goodell burn the tapes afterwards.

Well, logic has clearly passed you by so explaining your "rationale" to anyone will be difficult. Are prostitution and brothels legal in Florida?  Is it different if your hooker is the Madame herself?
