Lol, Jackson getting booed

Tough INT to take; not a great throw, not a horrible throw, very well played, off the hands of the receiver but the defender was right there making it difficult, and then the guy who caught the ball made a nice play off a deflection with some luck to be in the right place at right time.

Good example of how statistics must be interpreted in connection with as much data as you can get.

It's not simply INT=BAD QB

At least not on that one.

(Having said that, I hate Jackson and he is the only guy in the entire draft I wanted less than Josh Allen!)

Yes, they are dumb.

The best approach to celebrations ever was Thurman Thomas'.  After scoring a TD he just casually tossed the ball to the official in the end zone and jogged toward the bench.

As if to say "Been there, done that 10,000 times before, I expect to score, this is not a big deal for me."

I say we see flacco b4 the half. Jackson looks about as ready to take on this d as peterman. Only reason ravens are not toast yet is jackson can run (less 3 and outs) and their d is legit

Yup ... ods are high, I think.

LOL  At one point there Rivers just bent over in the turtle shell waiting to be sacked; then it didn't happen and he was like "What?  Oh, OK, I'l look around some more and throw it I guess."

FG fest for SD LA.

The Chargers have the Ravens O totally bottled up. I don't expect the Chargers to pull out all the stops if this keeps up. Grind out the W and save the good stuff for New England.

That's certainly how it looks.

So far the playoffs have proved one thing, defense still matters

Or that we're watching half-baked teams without great offenses.

As I mentioned up thread, there are not enough high quality teams to fill the available playoff spots in the NFL.

Last year's Bills/Jacksonville game is a great example of what I'm talking about.

How was that not PI or illegal contact or something?

That old ref looked right at it and thought it was okay that the DB just shoves the receiver out of bounds while the ball is in the air.

not a catchable ball.  Rivers was chucking it out of bounds in the area of Williams

How often do you see them still cal PI on noncatchable balls.
