Kidding aside, until this year Dungey was better than any Syracuse QB since McNabb including Nassib. He always reminded me of a poor man's Tim Tebow. I think Dungey gets a shot somewhere as a late round pick or UDFA. If not as a QB, then converted to another position. He is a great athlete, but a little inconsistent at QB. Dungey played his way to the bench and lost to Pitt this year. Dungy has a barely passable FBS arm. A If Allen is scared I don't see it. Takes hits, dives in end zone and is hurdling ProBowl LBs. And has a cannon arm. Not ideal but he is playing more than they planned in YR 1. This is what growing pains look like. Marrone was looking to bring in his SU Orange QB Ryan Nassib to Buffalo, too. The Syracuse University marching band plays during Bills games at 1/2 time. The team needs a solid veteran QB to mentor Allen and be a capable back up and I think this team should draft a third string QB to get Peterman off the roster. McD better learn from his mistakes this season in handling the QB position. He better know to not have Peterman on the roster and that you need some depth at QB. That’s something I hate to do since I don’t get to see the bad with the good, but I really wanted to see the good anyway. It’s better than the Nathan Peterman hype video. I’ll give him that. But not much better. And against some weak competition on most plays. Also like half of it is runs. Very few throws and really nothing that would show accuracy or NFL talent.
